Three Oakland occupiers charged with hate crimes

Three Occupy Oakland protesters accused of surrounding and taunting a woman before stealing her wallet were charged on Friday with robbery and hate crimes, authorities said.

Michael Davis, 32, Nneka Crawford, 23, and Randolph Wilkins, 24, confronted the woman on the streets of Oakland in February after she told them not to riot in her neighborhood, the Oakland Police said in a written release.

“She was surrounded by three protestors and battered as they yelled vulgar epithets regarding their perception of her sexual orientation,” Oakland Police spokeswoman Johnna Watson said.

The female victim was not identified except as a 20-year resident of the neighborhood.

Florida occupier busted for stealing neighbor’s furniture for encampment

The 32-year-old “Occupy Pensacola” protester was arrested yesterday on felony burglary and larceny charges for allegedly robbing a neighbor’s home of furniture that he used at the protest group’s encampment outside City Hall.

Scott was nabbed shortly after victim Ned English called police to report the theft of a couch, a recliner, four wicker chairs, and four couch cushions from his home, according to an Escambia County Sheriff’s Office report.

Its lights-out for Tacoma occupiers after caught stealing electricity

The lights went out at Occupy Tacoma’s downtown encampment Wednesday night, and chances are they won’t come on again.

Protesters, who have been camped out since Oct. 15 in Pugnetti Park on Pacific Avenue, had tapped into electrical power supplying the park’s six light poles. Overloads occasionally have tripped the breaker in the on-site service panel.

Several days ago, employees of the park’s owner, the state Department of Transportation, after discovering the service panel box had been broken into, installed a new lock, said the Transportation Department’s communications director, Steve Pierce.

OWS mob steals sacred item from church

There’s no longer room at the inn at a Manhattan church that’s sheltering Occupy Wall Streeters after a holy vessel disappeared from the altar last week.
When the Rev. Bob Brashear prepared for Sunday services at West Park Presbyterian Church on West 86th Street, he noticed parts of the bronze baptismal font were gone.

In a fire-and-brimstone message to occupiers later that day, he thundered, “It was like pissing on the 99 percent.”

In Brooklyn, at another church housing OWS protesters, an occupier urinated on a cross, according to Rabbi Chaim Gruber, who has angrily abandoned the OWS movement.

Crime on the rise at Occupy Eugene

Here is the actual report assembled by police. A sample:
Activity and observations during the last two days include a routine car stop for expired tags where an adult male was arrested for drug sales and possession of stolen property, including a $4,000.00 camera. During his interview, the man said he received much of the stolen property from the OE encampment. This is an indication some individuals in the camp may be storing property they have stolen and exchanging it for drugs. The suspect in this case trades drugs for stolen phones, iPods, and other similar items. The suspect said he calls the people deliveringthe stolen property “Occupy Kids.”…
Today an officer investigated an assault that occurred at the camp several days ago. According to the victim, he was attacked by three men, one of whom struck him with an axe. The victim suffered a number of injuries, including a broken leg. He is presently under care in a local hospital…
A nearby grocery store manager complained that groups of a half dozen individuals from the camp are stealing from the store. When confronted they are seen fleeing into the camp. This last Saturday the problem was particularly bad and he has asked for our assistance.

Obama’s North Carolina speech without teleprompters!

You all heard that Obama’s teleprompters and other equipment was stolen from a parking lot before a speech in North Carolina, right? By the way, has the Tea Party been blamed for that yet?

The items were probably stolen by the #Occupy hippies, looking to pawn them for some food! [Hysterical laughter!] Any way, being the he-man he is, Obama went and did his speech anyway. Here it is, in it’s entirety, without the teleprompters.
