Obama’s War on Women’s Health.
When the Texas state administration first considered a rule to ban Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers from participating in the Texas’ Women’s Health Program, which is jointly funded by the state of Texas and the federal government, the Obama administration retaliated by threatening to cut funding to the program entirely.
Section 5 double down.
The Department of Justice’s civil-rights division acted today to add Texas to its fight over voter-ID laws. With South Carolina already suing the DoJ for interfering with its own voter-ID law, CRD chief Thomas Perez has filed an objection to Texas’ new regulation, presumably under Section 5 of the 1965 Civil Rights
This is sad. Pretty sickening. Fox News reports:
GRAPEVINE, Texas – Seven people believed to be related had opened their Christmas gifts and started cleaning up the wrapping paper when they were shot to death in a suburban Texas apartment, police said Sunday.
Authorities said they believe the shooter is among the dead, but got a warrant before doing a full search on the small chance that it was otherwise.
Four women and three men, aged 18 to 60, were found in an adjoining kitchen and living room area when police entered the apartment around midday, said Police Sgt. Robert Eberling. Two handguns were found near the bodies in the apartment that was decorated for the holiday with a tree, he added.
“It appears they had just celebrated Christmas. They had opened their gifts,” Eberling said.
Somebody snapped. The big concern here, and I certainly hope it doesn’t play out, could be politicizing this tragedy to advance an illegal and unconstitutional gun control agenda.
I’ll just bet those that are afflicted with Knee-jerk Syndrome are already looking in to that.
I’m sure this is going to upset the people who don’t go outside on sunny days because they will see their shadows and become scared, but this is good for freedom, and that’s what counts, nothing else. Remember Benjamin Franklin:

FORT WORTH, Texas — A former Miss USA’s claims of being groped during a pat-down at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport could be a felony under a bill gaining momentum in the Texas Legislature.
The bill would make it illegal for a security officer to intentionally touch someone’s private areas — even atop clothing — unless they have probable cause to believe the person is carrying something illegal.
Bill sponsor State Rep. David Simpson says the searches are removing people’s dignity.
The pat downs (and other search methods) are a clear violation of the 4th Amendment, and presumes guilt. Very anti and un-American. I believe we should do away with the TSA. There has not been one instance of that agency “keeping us safe.” Not one. That is fact. It’s an 8.1 billion dollar a year waste of money, period. Added bonus, taxpayers get to fund the TSA’s union as well.
