House Republicans deserve an “atta boy” for at least being able to delay the retarded light bulb ban until October, right before the election. Brilliant! Banning the light bulb… how stupid is that? Shown below, you will see the difference between the good old-fashioned Thomas Edison incandescent bulb which presently sells for about 50 cents, and the mercury loaded climate kook, environmental zealot CFL bulb which costs about 5 bucks and doesn’t light worth a crap.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republicans in Congress are flipping the dimmer switch on a law that sets new energy-savings standards for light bulbs.
They’ve reached a deal to delay until October enforcement of standards that some fear will bring about the end of old-style 100-watt bulbs. GOP lawmakers say they‘re trying to head off more government interference in people’s lives.
I’ll give Republicans a hat tip for this one. Finally a little common sense is prevailing.
Now, speaking of common sense and a woman that doesn’t have any at all, Sen. Barbie Doll Boxer, the space case from California who advocates and pushed for the light bulb ban, and for the replacement CFL’s, let’s remember what this daffy broad said a few days ago.

Oh! She must mean from the mercury in the CFL light bulbs that she advocates, and mandates everyone use while banning the alternative that contains no mercury. Yeah, you’re a real thinker, aren’t you Barbie.
