It’s On!

The Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has pushed the panic button and lined up at least $32 million to fill the airways with false attacks in order to return Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.

I got the notice just yesterday that they are prepared to funnel more than $3.5 million in misleading television ads in our district. The buy is the earliest in the organization’s 146 year history. It’s an unprecedented and desperate move but we must respond.

I need your help to fight back. From day one, I’ve had a target on my back. The Washington Democrats are still angry that we were able to reverse 40 years of Democrat domination and take back Northern Wisconsin’s seat from them last November. Nancy Pelosi knows that she has to defeat me to get back the gavel.

We can’t let that happen.

Will you donate $50, $100, $250 or more right now to my campaign? I know it may seem early, but we’re already making preparations for November.

We don’t know much about the ads they plan to run, but we do know that the attack arm of the DCCC, which is responsible for manufacturing their negative TV ads, is behind the purchase. Their plan is to repeat lies enough times to make sure voters believe them.

How do we fight back? It’s simple. Everytime Wisconsin voters hear a misleading attack against me, we have to respond with the facts. Fighting back against $3.5 million worth of ads is going to take a lot of work.

That’s why I hope you’ll take a few seconds out of your day to donate to my campaign — whether it’s $50, $500, or $5,000 we’ll put it to good use.

Our response to the Democrats’ attack machine must match their campaign slush fund dollar for dollar. Your support is essential to making that happen.

Thanks for your support.

Sincerely,

Sean Duffy

P.S. Nancy Pelosi’s ad makers are designing their plans right now. Please consider a contribution today.

Sean Calls Out DCCC Lies

Yesterday, the Washington, D.C.-based Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and two labor unions launched radio and TV ads attacking me for supporting Paul Ryan’s Path to Prosperity budget last week.

As you know, the budget, which passed the House last Friday, is a critical step forward in getting our nation’s debt under control and shows a clear contrast in the two parties visions for our country’s future.

My campaign team prepared this document that separates myth from fact and I wanted to make sure you had a copy. If you’d like to read it on my website or to share it with your friends, click here.

An Important Message From Our Friend Sean Duffy

It’s easy to forget how much has changed in Washington since 2010. Two years ago, Obamacare had just been passed and Washington Democrats were spending money we didn’t have hand over fist.

Since arriving in Washington, I’ve focused on one thing: getting serious about our challenges. Getting serious means bold leadership. Whether it’s voting to repeal Obamacare and dismantling piece by piece or supporting budgets that gets our spending under control, I haven’t shied away from the challenges facing our country.

Will you support me in this fight? We’re days away from this year’s first end of quarter reporting deadline. When the books close at midnight on Saturday, we’ll publicly release our fundraising totals since January.

Can we include your donation of $15, $35 or any amount you can do in our total? Please click here to make an immediate contribution to our campaign.

In 2010, our campaign was one of the handful of majority-making races that brought this new direction to Washington. This new direction means we’re no longer asking whether we should cut spending, but rather, how much should we cut?

The battles we’re fighting in Washington are about the essence of who we are as Americans. Obamacare, for example, represents a fundamental threat to our freedoms – this fight isn’t just about healthcare and massive government spending. A federal government that can make you purchase healthcare can force you to do literally anything.

In 2010 we ran a grassroots campaign and we hope to do the same in 2012, with your support. That’s why participation is just as important as the total we raise.

Even if you can only spare $10, $25, $40, or more we’d like to add you to our list of donors this quarter so please take a moment to donate online right now.

We know Wisconsin will be a battleground state in the Fall so we’re preparing early for my re-election. Thanks in advance for your support.

Sincerely,

Sean Duffy

P.S. Your donation to our campaign is a critical show of support. Will you let Washington’s special interest groups know you’re standing with me in 2012 by donating to my re-election today?

“Let’s go all the way!”

That’s what I told Congress when they tried to pass a half-hearted bill full of loopholes after CBS’s 60 Minutes called Congress out on insider trading. I didn’t accept the business-as-usual Washington response. I stepped up to the plate with the RESTRICT Act, a bill that’s gaining major traction, national media attention and significant endorsements from the likes of whistle blower Peter Schweizer (“Throw them all out”) and former Governor Sarah Palin. The RESTRICT Act is being praised for its “straightforward simplicity” – a novel concept in a town accustomed to thousand page bills full of carve-outs for special interests.

Click here to read what Sarah Palin said about the RESTRICT Act and make a contribution to my campaign.

But that’s not all. My first action as your Congressman was to introduce a resolution to effectively end earmarks in Congress. I’m proud of my role in ending the bribing of elected officials with wasteful pork projects for their districts. And for all the dysfunction in Washington these days, at least bills are finally being debated on their merits and not the attached “goodies”.

I also authored legislation to put an end to the $800 billion stimulus bill and return unspent funds to the Treasury to pay down our national debt.

In just one year, I’ve proven myself to be a principled leader in a movement for a more accountable government that spends your tax dollars more efficiently and effectively. But it hasn’t won me many friends in the beltway.

No wonder I am the Democrats’ top target in 2012. They openly talk about taking me down now, before I can become an even bigger force for reform and limited government.

Now, I need your support before midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Your contribution, which can be made online, right now, by clicking here, will ensure I have the resources to fight back against their attacks. I need your help to continue making good on my promise to GO ALL THE WAY in cleaning up and shrinking government.

There are other reasons why Democrats have put a big fat target on my back. They’re mad that I led the fight to rein in President Obama’s new regulatory agency, which would have unprecedented powers to over-regulate small community banks and credit unions – the lifeblood of economic growth and jobs in Wisconsin.

I’m also the only congressman who has put forward a comprehensive alternative to Obamacare. One that is patient centered, not run by bureaucrats and Washington know-it-alls.

For these reasons — and many more to come — liberals and special interest lobbyists want me gone and replaced with one of their tax and spend cronies.

It’s true that a powerful, liberal Democrat held this seat for more than 40 years. But no political party or machine owns Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District. It’s the people’s seat. I’m asking you to help me continue to be your voice of reform and thrift in government. If you click here and donate online right now, we can count your support towards our 2011 goal.

Thank you for all your support and prayers. May you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Gratefully yours,

Sean Duffy

An important message from Congressman Sean Duffy

Often times, fact is stranger than fiction. But sometimes, especially for the liberals who think they own this congressional seat, fiction is certainly a lot more convenient.

This week, a national labor union poured $50,000 into TV time for attack ads against me urging support of Obama’s Stimulus 2.0. They claim Government spending and higher taxes will create more jobs. They obviously didn’t pay much attention to what happened after the first Obama / Pelosi Stimulus.

Then a second group – Nancy Pelosi’s Super PAC – decided to double down and spend another $50,000 of their own this week in TV ads misleading Wisconsin voters about my record. Add them together and you’ve got $100,000 of attacks, distortions and lies – and we’re still a year away from the election!

Sadly, this first foray shows that the Liberals in Washington aren’t bound by the truth. They don’t much care about the fact that I opposed a taxpayer bail-out of big banks and failing companies from the start, or that I voted for corporate tax reform that closes loopholes and encourages companies to stop shipping jobs overseas. Or that I’ve voted for dozens of job-creating measures already in Congress.

Because if you’re a Washington Liberal and you’re trying to buy back a congressional seat, why worry about the truth? Just run whatever lie is most convenient.

I need your financial support now to fight back. Consider taking a moment to give — whether it’s $20 or $100. Voters deserve to get the full story.

What these attacks against me reveal is that Democrats aren’t interested in creating more jobs or getting our economy back on track. They’re only interested in scoring political points.

With your help, we’ll make sure that tactic doesn’t work. We can’t afford to let $100,000 in attacks go unanswered.

Sincerely,

Sean Duffy

Soros Funded “House Majority PAC” Attacks Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI-7)

Last week, the “House Majority PAC” — a Super PAC funded by unlimited contributions from billionaire George Soros and Washington special interests like labor unions — launched a wave of attack ads against me. This latest ad represents the 4th liberal independent expenditure group to go on TV or radio on the attack against us – and I’ve only been 8 months in office!

I need your help to fight back.

Now, you and I both know that politics can get ugly, but this goes beyond “politics as usual.”

First of all, the Super PAC is free to skirt normal campaign finance laws that place limits on the influence special interest groups, like labor unions, can have. While Democrats decry conservative independent expenditure groups on the one hand, they are hypocritically supporting the liberal versions on the other.

Second, the Super PAC — which is accountable to no one — is using attacks that have been called false by independent, non-partisan fact-checking organizations.

What’s their attack? They’re targeting me for voting for a plan that saves Medicare from going bankrupt in the next decade and fighting tax increases at a time when our economy can least afford it.

How can you help? It’s simple. We’re gearing up for a political fight tougher than anything we faced in 2010. Your early, financial support now will 1) ensure we have the resources to fight back and 2) demonstrate to Washington’s political class that our enthusiasm hasn’t waned since last November.

I’m confident that as voters hear the truth, they’ll ignore the liberal lies, attacks and distortions. But this is not a time to sit idle – we have to get our message out.

Your contribution of just $5, $10 or $25 can make an important impact this early in the race. Click here to take a few moments of your time to chip in.

Thanks for your continued support. I’m so humbled and grateful for all that you do.

Sincerely,

Congressman Sean Duffy

SEIU produces hit piece on Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI-7)

You all know about SEIU (Service Employee’s International Union) right? They’re thugs. I have published numerous video’s of these “people” disrupting business, harassing people, and even beating people because they don’t agree with the union. They are an evil, vile plague that must be wiped off the face of the Earth.

Now, if I were Sean Duffy, in a position of power such as he is, most likely will keep the 7th District seat in Wisconsin, and see a GOP senate majority in the next election along with a new president, well, I’d be looking at ways to destroy SEIU (sometimes payback is a bitch).

SEIU is currently the defendant in federal court on racketeering charges, they have a manual out and published about how to effectively use intimidation to achieve their goals. If I’m Duffy, I’m taking them out when the political winds change.

We ran an expose via the Washington Times exposing the corrupt, mafia-like Service Employee’s International Union a little while back.

Well, they’re at it again, and this time those thugs are after Sean Duffy. They created a propaganda piece that holds no truth to its contents at all in an attack on Sean. He’s a lawyer, I’d be looking to sue if I were him. Aggressive thugs like this must be stopped in their tracks. Here’s the propaganda piece, take a look:

Too bad SEIU’s leadership wasn’t in the car at the end of this video. That would have been sweet!
