Never in my lifetime have I experienced the country in such misery and hopelessness. It was bad during the Carter years, but not this bad. I would imagine the brunt of the Great Depression was probably worse. Apparently, all but 11% agree with me.

PRINCETON, NJ — Americans’ satisfaction with the way things are going in the United States has fallen back to 11%, the lowest level since December 2008 and just four percentage points above the all-time low recorded in October 2008.
