The Obama White House Is Campaign Central

Every White House has, for a long time, had an office occupied by a “senior advisor” whose sole task it is to make sure the President gets re-elected.  We certainly have no problem with that.  After all, politics is to Washington as air and water are to the planet.   Judging from the decisions that have emanated from this White House, however, it appears that politics and the next election constitute the primary business being conducted at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Where to begin?  Let’s start with the so-called budget the White House has forwarded to the Senate.

Americans fear Obama reelection 2-1

That’s my worst fear as well. The country will be lost if he is reelected.

via US News & World Report:

When it comes to how Americans view President Obama going into the new year, there appears to be very little spirit of Auld Lang Syne. Instead, according to the new Washington Whispers poll, many voters aren’t forgetting what they dislike about Obama and want him out office.

In our New Year’s poll, when asked what news event they fear most about 2012, Americans by a margin of two-to-one said Obama’s reelection.

Yes, he really is that bad. Time for Obama to be deposed.

Holder Race-baiting About Obama’s Re-election, Not Voting Rights

Eric Holder’s Department of Justice (DOJ) has launched an all-out war on voter-ID laws and other measures to safeguard to the electoral process. Although Holder’s actions are purportedly to prevent African-Americans from being disenfranchised, the reality is that they serve the crass political purpose of ensuring that Holder’s boss gets reelected next year.

The Obama Exploitation Post

Yes, I know some of you are waiting to see if I will post about a little something that I more or less told you was going to happen in early May. Here’s a hint: “We don’t need to spike the football.” Oh yes, I’ll be getting to that gem in just a little bit. But first, I must visit the dentist. Stay tuned!

Only 30% certain to support Obama in 2012!

Oh, this is fantastic news! Let’s just hope it holds true over the next year and a half so we can be done with this experiment in Bolshevik laced Socialism. I know this is going to make me sound bad, but I’m going to say it anyway. I hope the economy stays rotten and/or gets worse, that will pretty much guarantee Obama being one and done. I think a little short-term pain over the next year and a half is a small price to pay to save the country.

via Bloomberg:

Americans are growing more dissatisfied with President Barack Obama’s handling of the economy and say it will be hard to vote to re-elect him without seeing significant progress over the next year and a half.

By a margin of 61 percent to 37 percent, a Bloomberg National Poll conducted June 17-20 shows Americans say they believe that Obama will have had his chance to make the economy “substantially better” by the end of 2012.

Only 30 percent of respondents said they are certain to vote for the president and 36 percent said they definitely won’t. Among likely independent voters, only 23 percent said they will back his re-election, while 36 percent said they definitely will look for another candidate.

Hope & Change, Baby!!! It’s coming in November of 2012!

Obama is telling us again, are you listening this time?

So how have the last two and a half years been for you? Not really what you expected, is it? 1.78 gas has now turned in to 3.85, inflation is here, we’re broke, trillion-dollar deficits, socialized medicine that you did not want, the economy on the brink of default, high unemployment, your 401k’s are wiped out. During the 2008 campaign Obama said exactly what he was going to do, but you voted for him anyway. Evidently you didn’t think he meant what he actually meant. “Spread the wealth around, etc…” And now a lot of you are stunned at what this country has become. You should have listened to him and believed what he said.

There’s an old saying that goes like this. “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” He’s doing it again. Are you listening this time? He’s telling you exactly what’s going to happen if he gets another 4 years. He’s on the campaign trail right now stumping for higher taxes.

Inflation is at 9.6%, gas is up 123.3%, normal everyday items that were never taxed before are taxed now. And Obama wants more of your money. How much of your money that you worked for do you have left? Is your wallet fatter or thinner than it was three years ago?

Remember those 125′s? Health Savings Accounts, you could put money away tax-free to pay your prescriptions or co-pays with, buy a new pair of glasses, etc… Gone. No more.

Do you have a really nice health care plan? You bought it because you want to make sure you and your family have the best possible coverage. You’re paying for it, but now you are also paying the government for the privilege of keeping your plan. But the unions aren’t. They got a waiver.

These are just a few things to think about. This is also what Obama told us he was going to do in the 2008 campaign, if you actually listened to him. He’s at it again. Telling you what he wants for the next four years. Are you paying attention this time?

There is “unfinished business,” Obama said. The “vision hasn’t changed. What we care about hasn’t changed. Our commitments should not have changed. And so this campaign is not my campaign; this is your campaign. And the question is do we finish the job. I’m prepared to finish the job. I hope you are, too.” – Barack Obama, April 2011.

There it is. It doesn’t get anymore clear than that. Are you paying attention this time?

Compassion Obama style: Skips Touring Tornado Destruction, Heads West to Raise Money Instead

And who said he and his kind and his party are only concerned about the power? Thank me very much. Anything for power, that’s the progressive way!

Compassion really isn’t one of Obama’s strong suits, unless he can get something out of it. You remember it took 44 days for him to even tour the damage from last years oil spill, and now, he’s blowing off the tornado ravaged south, chasing the almighty dollar, putting his reelection bid ahead of the people. Not very presidential. Not very presidential at all.

The White House Dossier reports:

President Obama is opting not to visit the tornado-ravaged areas of the South, choosing instead to embark on a three day tour out West where he will try to boost his political standing by talking up his approach to the deficit and raise millions for himself and fellow Democrats.

The tornadoes, part of a storm that rampaged though six states Saturday, resulted in one of the worst disasters of any kind in the United States since the Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Scores were left injured or homeless while 45 people were killed – about four times as many as died in the Gulf oil rig explosion and the subsequent oil spill last year. In North Carolina alone, there were nearly two-dozen storm-related deaths Saturday, with 130 homes destroyed and an estimated 700 more damaged.

Not only is Obama staying away from the region, he has said almost nothing publicly about the tragedy beyond an interview with a North Carolina TV station and a very brief mention at a White House prayer breakfast. The president has failed to make the kind of national, attention-getting public statement presidents offer during crises to comfort victims by expressing the condolences of the nation and to seek charitable aid.

Sunday, he went golfing….

Vice President Biden has also failed to show up. He’s cooling his heels at home in Wilmington, Delaware. The disaster did not even merit a visit from Secretary of Interior Ken Salazar who – without any apparent irony – was in Boston Tuesday announcing a new wind energy project.

What can you say that hasn’t been said already? This is what some of you want another four years of? You people are sick in the head.
