Dems Launch Robo-Calls Supporting Santorum in Michigan

Washington (CNN) – It’s no secret that most Democrat strategists consider Mitt Romney the GOP contender who poses the biggest threat to President Obama. It’s also no secret that Michigan, the state where Romney grew up, is a must win for him.

Combine those two dynamics, add in the fact that any registered voter is allowed to vote in Michigan’s open primary, and you get a recipe for Democrats to make mischief.

Michigan Democrat strategist Joe DiSano has taken it upon himself to become a leading mischief maker.

DiSano says he targeted nearly 50,000 Democratic voters in Michigan

Even with Good Showings in Missouri and Minnesota, Santorum Surge Still Unlikely

Several sources are predicting a Santorum surge in Missouri and Minnesota tonight, but there’s reason for pause before we order out the “Rick 2012″ bumper stickers. Caucuses depend on two things: money and organization. Santorum has neither. Despite an impressive win in Iowa, it is getting harder and harder for him to keep up, because he is second to last in the delegate count with only eight so far.   That may well change tonight, but here are some reasons to be skeptical of a Santorum win,

The Fallacy of Gingrich as Unelectable

As Newt Gingrich’s victory in the South Carolina primary upended all previously held notions surrounding the unfolding GOP primary race, a common and vocal narrative has become increasingly prevalent; namely, that while he excites the Republican base, Gingrich is an unelectable, personally unlikable candidate that will be trounced in the general election.

This notion is utterly false.

While it is certainly accurate that any of the four remaining candidates for the Republican nomination will provide a stark, and compelling, contrast to the failed policies of the Obama administration, it is Newt Gingrich who has of late tapped into a….

Romney Support in NH Drops, Gingrich and Santorum Fade, Paul and Huntsman Climb

MANCHESTER, N.H.- Mitt Romney’s support has dropped for the fourth day in a row in the Suffolk University daily tracking poll of New Hampshire voters.
Romney had 35 percent, down from 39 percent in Saturday’s poll.
Meanwhile, Rep. Ron Paul (Texas) and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman are seeing gains.

Paul remains in second place but Huntsman is now clearly in third. In Saturday’s poll, he, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum were virtually tied for that spot.

The Texas congressman received 20 percent while Huntsman had 11 percent.
Gingrich had 9 percent and Santorum, who’s been steadily dropping in

The Primary

So how do you all feel about the Republican Primary? Me, I’m sick and tired of the negative campaigning. I have my favorites, and I’m pretty much tuning everyone else out. In the end the ultimate goal is to take the Marxist leaning Socialist Obama out, and any of the GOP candidates can do that, and should be focussing on him, playing just as dirty as he and his media allies will be playing, and yes, that means going after him personally, including Michelle.

The nominee is probably going to be Romney. I’m fine with that. I just wish he’d have the balls to say what Obama really is. A Socialist. Don’t be nice, and fearful of getting after him, you see how well that plan works by all the elections we’ve lost, most notably in ’08 with McCain. We are clamoring for someone to stop the politispeak and just say it the way it is, like normal, non-elitist Americans.

I can’t tell you how sick I am of the negative campaigning, and people like Michele Bachmann that justify breaking Reagan’s 11th Commandment. I know who my guy is, I’m going to watch the delegate count, but no more debates, speeches, etc… I’m sick of the election already. If my guy doesn’t win the nomination, I’ll vote for whoever the nominee is, not because I may like him, but rather that nominee isn’t the worst U.S. President in history, Barack Obama. I don’t care who it is, just defeat Obama by any means necessary.
