Obama Is Tanking, 65% Disapprove Of His Energy Policies

Well this is certainly good news for those of us not interested in another term for the second coming of Jimmy Carter.

Disapproval of President Obama’s handling of the economy is heading higher — alongside gasoline prices — as a record number of Americans now give the president “strongly” negative reviews on the 2012 presidential campaign’s most important issue, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

Increasingly pessimistic views of Obama’s performance on the economy — and on the federal budget deficit…

Gas prices are a main culprit: Nearly two-thirds of Americans say they disapprove of the way the president is handling the situation at the pump, where rising prices have already hit hard. Just 26 percent approve of his work on the issue, his lowest rating in the poll. Most Americans say higher prices are already taking a toll on family finances, and nearly half say they think that prices will continue to rise, and stay high.

Something To Look Forward To In A Few Months… A New President!

In this same poll, even Rick Santorum beats the Bolshevik-In-Chief!

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19…

With the perception growing that he will be the GOP nominee, Romney leads President Obama by five points in a hypothetical 2012 matchup. Today’s numbers show Romney at 48%, Obama at 43%. That’s Romney’s largest lead since December.

Who’s your choice?

Everybody else is asking the same question, but I have to ask, and get an idea who this site’s readers support.

The past few weeks have told us a lot about the candidates, particularly their character. As a result, I have made up my mind who I am supporting, and that will remain a mystery until I close the poll on the 22nd and publish the results on Monday the 23rd.

Please take the poll, two clicks, two seconds of your time, and your done. Let’s see who the readers of Lake Minnetonka Liberty are leaning toward.

Romney Support in NH Drops, Gingrich and Santorum Fade, Paul and Huntsman Climb

MANCHESTER, N.H.- Mitt Romney’s support has dropped for the fourth day in a row in the Suffolk University daily tracking poll of New Hampshire voters.
Romney had 35 percent, down from 39 percent in Saturday’s poll.
Meanwhile, Rep. Ron Paul (Texas) and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman are seeing gains.

Paul remains in second place but Huntsman is now clearly in third. In Saturday’s poll, he, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum were virtually tied for that spot.

The Texas congressman received 20 percent while Huntsman had 11 percent.
Gingrich had 9 percent and Santorum, who’s been steadily dropping in

There is Hope for America Yet – Americans Prioritize Growing Economy over Spreading the Wealth

Gallup released a new poll that is not good for President Obama’s campaign strategy.

But what is really fascinating is this:

Even with the economy being much worse than it was in 1998 more than half feel that there being a difference between rich and poor is acceptable.  Another words, they like capitalism.

President Obama should take heed.  Even in a horrible economy Americans don’t want a quasi-socialist economy that President Obama has spent the past three years trying to create.

God Bless America.

POLL: Americans like Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu better than Obama

You can go ahead and count me in the majority as I like and have way more respect for Bibi than I do for Obama. It’s not even close.

via Israel Today:

US President Barack Obama accidentally let it be known last week that he doesn’t think much of Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu. But that’s OK, because Obama’s own countrymen actually prefer Netanyahu over their own president.

A poll conducted by the group Greenber Quinlan Rosner found that 52.3 percent of Americans rate Netanyahu positively, compared to 51.5 percent for Obama. Other polls have Obama’s approval ratings even lower, while Netanyahu has been consistently winning praise.

The results of the poll were enthusiastically discussed on Israel’s Channel 10 News on Thursday.

POLL: Democrat Party More Socialist Than 2008

First things first. It should be noted that the terminology has been sugarcoated and sanitized by Gallup. Liberal really means Socialist, but for the sake of their piece, this post will use their incorrect terminology.

Modern American liberalism is a form of liberalism developed from progressive ideals such as Theodore Roosevelt’s New Nationalism, Woodrow Wilson’s New Freedom, Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal, John F. Kennedy’s New Frontier, and Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society. It combines social liberalism and social progressivism with support for a welfare state and a mixed economy.

To put it quite simply, the modern term “liberal” defines socialism. How many times have I said they aren’t Democrats anymore, they’re socialists? I rest my case.

PRINCETON, NJ — In many respects, the demographic profile of Democrats nationwide is similar to what it was in 2008, although Democrats have become somewhat less white and more liberal than the party that nominated Barack Obama as its presidential candidate that year. As a group, Democrats are more likely than average to be women and nonwhite, less likely to be religious or married, much less likely to be conservative, and much more likely to be liberal than the U.S. population as a whole.

These results are based on a special Gallup analysis of the demographic and ideological composition of the U.S. population today (based on Gallup Daily tracking from June-August 2011) versus the start of 2008 presidential election campaign (from January-March)…

Perhaps the most significant change in the composition of Democrats between 2008 and today is the two-point increase, from 35% to 37%, in the percentage describing their political views as “liberal.” This occurred at a time when the country as a whole became slightly more conservative, thus expanding the political gap between Democrats and the rest of the U.S.

The change coincides with the decline in Democrat affiliation in recent years, and it may be that moderate or conservative Americans were less well-attached to the Democrat Party and were the first to shift their allegiance — thus leaving a higher concentration of political liberals among those who continue to align with the party.

Democrats remain less likely to attend church weekly and more likely to seldom or never attend church than the national average.

The proportion of Democrats who are Catholic or who identify with a non-Christian religion declined slightly between 2008 and 2011, while the percentage not identifying with any faith increased by four percentage points.

Democrats are significantly less likely than the U.S. population as a whole to be married.

Gallup finds relatively little change in the demographic composition of either major party’s supporters since 2008, even though the nation has become less Democrat, and more Republican and independent overall. All in all, Democrats remain decidedly less white, more female, more liberal, less religious, and less likely to be married than the general population.

Liberals and nonwhites have come to make up a slightly greater percentage of the Democrat base since 2008, perhaps indicating that the decline in Democrat affiliation since 2009 was proportionately greater among conservatives and whites.

Read it all.

And now we have that imbecile Vice President Joe Biden, in his speeches claiming “This isn’t your parents Republican Party anymore, they’re extremists.” What is the truth I keep telling you about Democrats and the left? Whatever they accuse the other side of, they themselves are guilty of it. As usual, the evidence, data and facts show that it is the Democrat Party that has become radicalized and extreme, not the Republican Party.

Just the most recent example of them joining the American Nazi Party, the Socialist Party USA and the Communist Party USA in support of the Occupy Movement should tell you that.

One-third of #Occupy protesters support the use of violence to advance their Communist agenda

And the left points to the right and says we’re the violent one’s! [Hysterical laughter]. And those same schmucks claim the Tea Party is violent! [Hysterical laughter]. How many Tea Partiers have been arrested? Well, I did a little research on that for the last few days. The answer is zero. Zip. Nada. How many leftist Occupiers? Over 800 in New York City alone. So the lies about the Tea Party being violent are just that. Lies. Are you reading this, former Speaker Nanna P.?

Let’s take a look and see what the WSJ uncovered, shall we? Why yes! I think we shall!

31% of the protesters in Zucotti Park believe that violence is OK in order to advance their agenda.

32% call themselves Democrats – 33% say that no party represents them

25% probably will not vote in 2012

52% have been politically active before

98% support civil disobedience

15% are unemployed

51% disapprove of Obama’s performance

48% claim that they will vote to re-elect the president
