Lake Minnetonka Ice Dive Video

So, did you take the plunge in to Lake Minnetonka yesterday morning? Aye, with the wind she was a brisk one indeed!

Nearly 900 people jumped through a hole in the ice covering Lake Minnetonka New Year’s Day as part of the annual ALARC Ice Dive.

Organizers say they were on track to break a record for divers, but a quick change in the weather may have caused some divers to stay away.

Some of the proceeds from the dive will go to the Semper Fi Fund, a non-profit set up to provide financial support to injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
