Nearly 900 people jumped through a hole in the ice covering Lake Minnetonka New Year’s Day as part of the annual ALARC Ice Dive.
Organizers say they were on track to break a record for divers, but a quick change in the weather may have caused some divers to stay away.
Some of the proceeds from the dive will go to the Semper Fi Fund, a non-profit set up to provide financial support to injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
