Too Much Cowbell

Sorry Christopher (Walken) but you can have too much cowbell. The annoying professional protesters, the bottom-feeding Marxists in other words were once again being the selfish pricks they are, doing what they want to do, making noise and being an annoyance with no regard for anyone else, falsely believing their rights trump everybody else’s in their soon-to-be futile attempt to recall and oust Scott Walker. They didn’t like the results of the election, so they get a “do over.” Well, I didn’t like the results of the ’08 election, where’s my do-over? Aren’t I entitled?

A Recall Walker demonstrator found out Thursday that there is such a thing as too much cowbell.

Oshkosh Police Department officers arrested the 26-year-old Appleton man after he decided to give an officer more cowbell after the officer requested the group of Recall Walker demonstrators gathered in the 1800 block of Oshkosh Avenue Thursday afternoon stay quiet and avoid blocking a restaurant’s driveway.

OPD spokesman Officer Joe Nichols said officers responded after restaurant customers called to complain the demonstrators had blocked access to the driveway at 4:20 p.m. Thursday. The man continued to shake the cowbell in the officer’s face in spite of his requests to not make excessive noise.

When the officer attempted to take the cowbell, the Appleton man pushed the officer twice.

Nichols said the officer “directed” the man to the ground and requested assistance. As he attempted to handcuff the man, a 25-year-old Appleton woman hit the officer in the back with her picket sign.

Both were arrested and taken to the Winnebago County Jail. Nichols said OPD recommended the man be charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and that the woman be charged with disorderly conduct and battery to a police officer, a Class H felony.

Once again, it’s the left. Every single time in fact, it’s the left. Just another example of leftism, liberalism, elitism, whatever you want to call it. It’s always the left, never the right, have you noticed?

Coddled Teachers: 90 paid sick days per year!

Let’s see, you work three-quarters time, get a 3 month paid vacation every year, not to mention holidays off and you do get vacation time. And for good measure, how does 90 paid sick days a year grab you?

When I say we don’t need to spend any more on education, ya think maybe I’m on to something? When I say reform education, is the picture getting a little less fuzzy for you?

These teachers appear to be nothing more than leech’s that have attached themselves to the public trough and are draining it dry. Enough is enough. Even the French are envious.

A public sector “job.” 3 months worth of sick time, three months off in the summer, full vacation and holidays off means they could only work about 5 months or less a year if they so chose, and they have the audacity to complain? Does anybody else get those kind of perks? Anybody who has a real job (private sector, non-union) get anything like that? Even big business CEO’s don’t get that. Unbelievable.

Teachers would no longer receive 90 sick days per year. Instead, they would receive 10 sick days per year that could accumulate up to 90 days. Unused days would not be paid back.

And under Gov. Walker’s plan they can still accrue up to 90 sick days? Screw that. If it were up to me, 10 days, take it or leave it.

Like I said. To those teachers that are whining about Gov. Walker’s plan, if you don’t like it, find another job. That’s how freedom works. Charlie Sykes has the full story.
