If the high gas prices ensure the end of the Obama regime after one term, it’s a small price to pay. Last week I showed you gas prices were at 5.00 bucks in D.C.

I followed that up with a post entitled, No longer 5, but 6 dollar a gallon gas by summer possible, in which economists agree 6.00 is likely, some have suggested 6.50.

I’m thinking 7.00 bucks is more likely than not. Why? Well, on Good Friday gas was going for 5.69 a gallon in Orlando.

And we all know it’s got to be big oil’s fault. It can’t be Obama and his failed policies. Just ask him, he’ll tell you. I told you Friday he’s already picked his target to be the villain. You must read that post.

This whole gas price thing is playing out almost like it was scripted well in advance.

In 2008 we had that Marxist used Cotex looking skag, Maxine Waters threaten the oil companies with being socialized.

You had Obama say himself that under his plan, energy will skyrocket. You can find that video here.

And how convenient is this to push his green agenda? Let’s be real, the guy is an environmental zealot who hates fossil fuels and has basically declared war on traditional energy. Particularly coal, oil and natural gas.

We’ve got skyrocketing gas prices directly due to Obama’s failed and wrong policies, now all of a sudden there’s an investigation in to big oil for price gouging. It’s just a smokescreen and an opportunity to create a villain. My guess is they’ve already determined the outcome of those investigations, and Obama will just have to nationalize the oil companies, not because he wants to, oh no, but, well, you know he just has to. He’s got your best interests at heart and he needs to protect you from those evil oil companies.

I just bet that’s how the script is written. Whether or not he can pull it off is another story. He could have with the last congress, it’s a little more difficult now, and that’s where Cass Sunstein comes in.
