NPR again. Where are we at with defunding that progressive, propaganda pushing, sorry excuse of a radio network? A year or so ago we went through a whole fiasco with NPR and Juan Williams, NPR soliciting funds from a terrorist organization (James O’Keefe sting), and now we have them comparing Obama to Jesus Christ. Like I said, where are we at with defunding them? I didn’t give permission for my money to fund this garbage.
This is the second item in about a week regarding the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Earlier we read about them (PBS) sanitizing Obama’s speech.
But that doesn’t mean there still isn’t the occasional moment reminiscent of a Bible story.
At a rally on the campus of North Carolina State in Raleigh, N.C. Wednesday where President Obama went to drum up support for his jobs bill, this happened.
AUDIENCE MEMBER: I love you, Barack!
THE PRESIDENT: I love you back. (Applause.) But first — but if you love me — if you love me, you got to help me pass this bill. (Applause.) If you love me, you got to help me pass this bill.
Here’s John 21:15, the New International Version, describing a scene between Jesus and his disciples:
When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,”Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
You’ve got to be kidding. This is appalling. The jackass that wrote this trash is a bum named Frank James. What a sick, twisted freak. And I’m funding this crap? I don’t think so. The handouts have to end.
The entire Corporation for Public Broadcasting needs to be defunded, period. And don’t give me any crap about Sesame Street or this program or that program. If they’re that good, they’ll survive in the private sector, supply and demand. If not, oh well.
