MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A community that is plagued by violence is doing what it can to stop it.
Organizations held a Stop the Violence rally in North Minneapolis Saturday to provide resources to those who have lost family members to shootings and other tragedies.

Donations piled up Saturday during a 12-hour donation drive for the victim’s of last month’s tornado in north Minneapolis.
People dropped off hundreds of dollars in groceries and supplies at a collection center on Washington Ave. The items will be brought to local churches
and shelters where they will be divided up and distributed to tornado vicitms.
