The Fleet Heads To Deep Water
via the Navy Times:
A total of 38 local ships, including the aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower, got underway from Naval Station Norfolk and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek or remained at sea in order to avoid the storm, according to Rear Adm. Clifford Sharpe, commander of Carrier Strike Group 8, the sortie commander.
“Getting underway is the safest place for ships, particularly where we have a scenario where we have high winds and the surge that would put the ships at risk pierside,” Sharpe said via a conference call with reporters from aboard the Eisenhower. “By getting out ahead of the storm … we’re able to proceed to sea to where we know that we’ll have a safe area to operate.”

Too many people have emaled me wanting the navy posts back, going through the visitor stats, that’s one of the most sought after (searched) features we have. Okay, after a couple of weeks in hiatus, I am scrapping the plan to scrap them, and bringing back that feature on Monday morning. So there!
Binny is dead, what could have been different?
It’s like I always say. When you need a job done, and need it done right, you send in the Navy. And they did the job right!
A few things I think would have put the exclamation mark on this… forget the political correctness about burying Bin Laden within 24 hours. Screw that. They started it, we needed to show them what will happen if its done again, and what payback American style is all about. Then I think dumping his body in a pen full of wild pigs, filming it, and airing that film on the media would have been the crown jewel. I wish we would have done that.
I’m glad he’s dead, and I think his 72 virgins are little guys with horns, a tail and a pitchfork, and it’s very, very hot where that subhuman son-of-a-bitch is now. Rot in hell for all eternity, you worthless piece of shit wrapped in skin! HA! HA! HA! LMAO!!!
