The Minnesota Department of Natural resources says the spring thaw in the next few weeks will probably prompt some temporary road and trail closures in state forests.DNR Forestry Division manager Richard Peterson says the thaw leads to soft soils, which are particularly susceptible to damage. He expects the temporary closures will begin in the next couple of weeks.
