Mexicans Flee Obama Economy

Barack Obama has been able to accomplish what no other president has… Stem the flow of illegal aliens from entering the country, and reversing the trend so that now illegal aliens leaving this country exceed the number coming to this country. BONUS: He’s accomplished this feat without deporting one single illegal alien!

Well, that’s one way to stem the tide of illegal aliens streaming across the border from Mexico.

Jack up unemployment rates to near double digits, dunk America into a double-dip recession and put us so deeply into hock with the Chinese communists that it will take generations for us to recover.

After long enough, living and working and trying to eke out bare survival in America becomes even worse than trying to get by in Mexico.

A new study from the highly esteemed Pew Hispanic Center says the millions of Mexicans who risked their lives crossing the desert to get here to the promised land for a better life have given up on the U.S….

….So the Mexicans have quit coming to the hopeless part of North America. Canada is just too far to walk….

….Authors of the Pew report call the stunning shift in migration patterns historic. Not since the Great Depression, they say, has a shift of this magnitude occurred along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Well Barack Obama has certainly “fundamentally transformed America,” hasn’t he? And the good news, he’s not finished “fundamentally transforming America.”

Obama’s list of worst firsts is astounding and quite long, highlighted by losing our AAA credit rating, four consecutive trillion dollar plus deficits, accumulating 5 trillion dollars of debt in three years, record numbers of Americans renouncing their citizenship, and now illegal aliens would rather stay home.

Just imagine what life will be like if Obama gets another four years.

Large Majority Say Government Encourages Illegal Migration

Most voters nationwide continue to believe government policies encourage illegal immigration and support using the military along the U.S.-Mexican border. But they remain divided as to whether the federal government or individual states should enforce immigration laws.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that 59% believe the policies and practices of the federal government encourage illegal immigration. Just 23% disagree while another 18% are not sure.

The number of voters who believe the federal government’s policies encourage people to enter the country illegally is virtually unchanged from May and is in line with findings since October 2009.

Majorities of Republicans (70%) and voters not affiliated with either party (61%) believe the government’s policies encourage illegal immigration, a view shared by 46% of Democrats. Read the rest

Sweet Home Alabama (unless you’re an illegal alien)

Tired of the federal government’s complete lack of enforcing our immigration laws, like Arizona, Alabama is cracking down on the illegal aliens and enforcing federal law since the federal government refuses to do so.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala (Reuters) – The Alabama state House of Representative passed an Arizona-style crackdown on illegal immigration on Tuesday, despite opposition from Democrats and civil rights groups.

The measure, which passed by 73 votes to 28 on Tuesday evening, would give state and local police broad powers to check the immigration status of people detained on other charges.

It also would require businesses in the state to run checks on new employees through a federal computer database, dubbed an “E-verify,” and use a state verification program to deny public services to illegal aliens.

The bill will now go to the Alabama Senate for a vote.

Why would the Democrats object to the state enforcing existing laws? To buy votes, probably. You have to wonder why that party has such an aversion to upholding our laws, it doesn’t make sense. Don’t you think the rule of law and the country should be the focus? I don’t understand why Democrats (in general) refuse to put the country first. This should be an American issue that we all agree on.

“This is 100 percent the responsibility of the federal government and states cannot usurp that power,” said Shay Farley, legal director of the nonprofit Alabama Appleseed organization.

She’s a legal director of an organization? You’d think she’d know better than to be spewing a false statement like she just did. Ummm… Shay? You might just want to bone up on your constitution a wee bit. Particularly about a little item called the Supremacy Clause. Ever heard of it?

Now, for making a false statement like she did, and passing it off as a fact, you know, using propaganda, well, that always raises a red flag for me. She fits the profile of a radical left-winger, so I did a little check on her. What can I say? Right again! In her own words via her Twitter profile:

Progressive being the keyword. Like I said, a left-wing radical. Her tweets and tweets from people she follows? Completely un-American, progressive nonsense. The ideology is like something from the Soviet Union, it’s unbelievable. Clearly she and her followers have no understanding and/or regard for the constitution.

She seems to me to be one of those people that wrongly believe the constitution is a living, breathing document that they can interpret to mean anything they want it to mean. I liken her type of thinking to the rules of the road.

You come across a yield sign and we all know that means you have to yield the right of way to other traffic. But people like her think that yield sign means the other traffic must yield to them. You seriously wonder how those people function in the world without adult supervision.
