Obama’s EPA using your money to upgrade Mexican trucks

You read the title right. The kooks at the EPA which needs to be defunded and eliminated are paying for emissions upgrades to Mexican trucks because the Mexicans refuse to upgrade their own trucks. This president and this administration need to leave. This really should be the Asinine item of the day post that we publish daily at 7:00 PM U.S. Central Time.

In the latest effort to accommodate its cherished trade partner in the south, the U.S. government is paying to upgrade outdated Mexican trucks that hemorrhage illegal amounts of exhaust on their trips north to deliver merchandise.

The Mexican trucks enter the U.S. under a 17-year-old international trade pact known as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and they’ve created an air pollution crisis. The air quality in border towns has been especially impacted by the exorbitant levels of exhaust released by the Mexican trucks, which also fail to meet American safety standards.

Since the Mexican truckers have no intention of fixing the problem, Uncle Sam has stepped in to save the environment. U.S. taxpayers have picked up the cost to replace old mufflers on dozens of trucks and many more are scheduled to be upgraded by the middle of this year.

Yeah. I said, “WTF” too when I read this absolute nonsense. Leave it to Obama and the tyrannical kooks at the EPA.

Since we had to have a Democrat this time around, it should have been Hilary Clinton. I can honestly say yeah, I miss the good old days of the Carter administration. This presidency is a complete bust. I sure hope those of you that voted “hope and change” have learned your lesson. If you haven’t, well, the definition of insanity is repeating the same act while expecting a different result. You dig?

Imagine if you will the Bush administration ordering ATF agents to look the other way when American guns headed to the Mexican cartels passed illegally through the border. How would that make you feel? Now for the 64 thousand dollar question. Would you still be that fired up if it were the Obama administration that gave that order?

Do you know how to tell if you’re a phony, astroturf citizen? You will make excuses for one, and be outraged about the other. That means you are a follower, a simpleton following the pied piper and putting your loyalties to a man, not the law, and the country. Which one are you?

(CBS News) WASHINGTON – Federal agent John Dodson says what he was asked to do was beyond belief.

He was intentionally letting guns go to Mexico?

“Yes ma’am,” Dodson told CBS News. “The agency was.”

An Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms senior agent assigned to the Phoenix office in 2010, Dodson’s job is to stop gun trafficking across the border. Instead, he says he was ordered to sit by and watch it happen.

2010. Why that would be Obama’s watch, wouldn’t it? This lunacy is beyond belief.

“I’m boots on the ground in Phoenix, telling you we’ve been doing it every day since I’ve been here,” he said. “Here I am. Tell me I didn’t do the things that I did. Tell me you didn’t order me to do the things I did. Tell me it didn’t happen. Now you have a name on it. You have a face to put with it. Here I am. Someone now, tell me it didn’t happen.”

Sounds pretty convincing to me. I understand an investigation is forthcoming. It should not be conducted by the Obama administration, we already know what that outcome would be.

Agent Dodson and other sources say the gun walking strategy was approved all the way up to the Justice Department. The idea was to see where the guns ended up, build a big case and take down a cartel. And it was all kept secret from Mexico.

ATF named the case “Fast and Furious.”

Surveillance video obtained by CBS News shows suspected drug cartel suppliers carrying boxes of weapons to their cars at a Phoenix gun shop. The long boxes shown in the video being loaded in were AK-47-type assault rifles.

So it turns out ATF not only allowed it – they videotaped it.

Remember, videotape doesn’t matter to the Justice Dept. The New Black Panthers case showed us that.

In related news. Our agents in Mexico, even the undercover agents, well, you won’t believe what the incompetent fool has ordered. This defies logic. I’ll just give you the headline, and you need to be sitting down for this one. Obama: No Arming of U.S. Agents in Mexico. How much longer until this buffoon is sent back to Chicago? It can’t come soon enough.

Shoot to kill, and kill ‘em all and let God sort ‘em out. That’s exactly how it would go down if it were my property in Texas,. along with a lot of booby traps.

So what is Obama doing, aside from nothing? Or how about that worthless incompetent boob that runs Homeland Insecurity? What’s that lard-ass done? Oh yeah, that’s right, she says the border is secure!

It is time for the military to be deployed along the southern border and screw what La Raza, ANSWER and the rest of those kooks say, round all of them up and throw their lame asses in to Mexico, I say. The rules of engagement should be, kill anyone breaching the border. This is stunning.

In Texas, nearly 8,200 farms and ranches back up to the Mexican border.

The men and women who live and work on those properties say they’re under attack from the same drug cartels blamed for thousands of murders in Mexico.

“It’s a war, make no mistake about it,” Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples said. “And it’s happening on American soil.”

Texas farmers and ranchers produce more cotton and more cattle than any other state, so Staples is concerned this war could eventually impact our food supply, and calls it a threat to our national security.

“Farmers and ranchers are being run off their own property by armed terrorists showing up and telling them they have to leave their land,” Staples said.

One Texas farmer, who asked not to be identified, said it’s common for him to see illegal aliens walking through his property.

“I see something, I just drive away,” he said. “It is a problem, I’ve learned to live with it and pretty much, I’ve become numb to it.”

Another farmer, Joe Aguilar, said enough is enough. After walking up on armed gunmen sneaking illegal aliens into the United States through his land, Aguilar decided to sell his farm.“It’s really sad to say, you either have to beat ‘em or join ‘em and I decided not to do either,” Aguilar said.

Aguilar’s family farmed 6,000 acres of land along the Texas-Mexico border for nearly 100 years.

“Our farmers and ranchers can’t afford their own security detail,” Staples said. “We’re going to become more dependent on food from foreign sources. Read more
