Now, when I say “boy,” I really do mean her boy. The son she gave birth to. Maryann Sumi is the poster child for out-of-control judicial activism and should be removed (by impeachment or other methods) from the bench. She is a radical progressive activist that rules based on ideology instead of law. In the real world, according to our constitution, the legislature makes the laws, and the judiciary enforces them. Not in the progressive world of Maryann Sumi. She and her kind poise a greater danger to this country than all of our foreign enemies combined. She is un-American. What I wouldn’t give for another Sen. Joe McCarthy to blackball this woman in to obscurity.
On Friday, big labor caught a break from the radical activist judge named Maryann Sumi as she placed a temporary restraining order on Scott Walker’s budget bill. An action which is unconstitutional as she is overriding the legislature (remember, the legislature writes the laws, the judiciary enforces them).
Also, Maryann is the very same “judge” that refused to order striking teachers back to work. So one could say that she aided in depriving your children of an education which you have already paid for. Yeah, a real “honey” isn’t she?
What about Maryann’s son? You know, the reason she has a conflict of interest and should have recused herself. Well, information obtained by Big Government shows Wisconsin has a little problem:
Judge Maryann Sumi should have recused herself entirely from the Wisconsin battle due to her inability to be neutral in this case. You see, Maryann Sumi has a clear conflict of interest. Her son is a political operative who also happens to be a former lead field manager with the AFL-CIO and data manager for the SEIU State Council. Both the SEIU and the AFL-CIO have members who are public-sector employees in Wisconsin. In fact, as a federation, the AFL-CIO can boast of several member-unions that represent public-sector employees. Maryann Sumi is hardly an unbiased judge in the matter.
Jacob “Jake” Sinderbrand, Sumi’s son, runs a company called Left Field Strategies, a firm that works on political campaigns.
Oddly enough, once this information got out, Left Field Strategies scrubbed their website Can you say, “cover-up?”. Here, take a look:
As luck would have it, old Jake wasn’t fast enough. Good bloggers always take screenshots so that when we state something, we have proof to back it up. This is from Jake’s website before he scrubbed it:
A lifelong political activist, Jake Sinderbrand got his start as a volunteer doorknocker, and has years of experience training both volunteers and canvassing staff. Jake graduated from Macalester College cum laude with a degree in political science, specializing in American political structures. He has developed his professional political experience serving as a lead field manager with the AFL-CIO and as data manager for the SEIU State Council through the 2008 election cycle. Jake’s expertise in canvass planning and turf strategy helped these organizations to have among the most successful field operations in Minnesota.
And there you go. There’s your conflict of interest. We’ll get back to Maryann’s radical activism in just a minute. First, a screenshot of Jake’s website (before he scrubbed it):
One ironic twist to this whole sordid affair is that Maryann Sumi apparently gave a speech in 2007 entitled “Judicial Decision Making: Activism or Accountability?”
Clearly, both Sumi and her son are activists, which is why Sumi should be removed from the entire Wisconsin matter.
Just in case this happens to “accidentally” get deleted, here’s the screenshot:
I think it’s best if Maryann and Little Gilligan take a boat to some deserted island somewhere, don’t you?
