Los Angeles to sue Occupiers?

Let’s hope LA does sue. In fact, we should freeze all of their assets, seize them to pay for the damages those bottom feeders caused. Remember, they did open an account at “the evil big bank.” I believe it was Wells Fargo.

Los Angeles City Atty. Carmen Trutanich is considering a lawsuit against Occupy L.A. protesters to reimburse the city for damage caused during the occupation of the City Hall lawn.

“The city is contemplating any and all of its options,” said William Carter, Trutanich’s chief deputy.

The two-month encampment cost the city at least $2.35 million, not counting repairs to the lawn and fountain outside City Hall, according to a report issued Friday.

Much of that cost — more than $1.7 million — will be added to the growing pool of red ink in this year’s city budget. The Occupy bills will increase an anticipated $72-million shortfall over the next six months, City Administrative Officer Miguel Santana said.

I’d do it. Freeze the assets and sue for restitution. Go after their supporters as well. The Democrat Party, the American Nazi Party, the Communist Party USA, the Socialist Party USA, MoveOn, Barack Obama’s Organizing For America, Center For American Progress, Media Matters, George Soros, the AFL-CIO, SEIU, and other big labor unions. Hit ‘em all and hit ‘em hard.

Occupiers resemble locusts

The Occupiers are like locusts, aren’t they? They swarm, they devour and destroy, and somebody else always has to pay to clean up after them.

from CBS Los Angeles:

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The City of Los Angeles reportedly faces millions of dollars in expenses brought about by the Occupy LA movement.

City agencies have been ordered to calculate what was spent on the Occupy LA protests.

Repairs to City Hall’s lawn where the Occupy group set up camp on Oct. 1 will require an estimated $400,000. The police action to clear out the encampment on Nov. 30 cost more than $700,000.

Additional expenses are attributed to hauling away debris from the camp, and cleaning up graffiti that defaced City Hall marble walls and trees.
