ASININE: Leftist Groups To Recieve $42 Million Taxpayer Dollars To Teach Homeowners How To Pay Their Bills

Oh no, I shit you not. The Obama Regime continues to nickel and dime us to death with frivolous, waste-of-money bullshit like what you are about to read.

HUD is going to spend 42 million dollars we don’t have, give it to radical leftist groups (La Raza is one of the recipients), providing of course they don’t embezzle the money, and use it to teach homeowners how to pay their bills.

Say what?

You’re an adult and you don’t know how to pay your bills?

I believe I speak for everyone that has some semblance of common sense. You’re an adult, if you don’t know how to pay your bills… to hell with you.

The Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD) is doling out $42 million in federal funding for housing counseling grants to 468 local, regional, and national organizations. Intended to prevent foreclosures and assist new home buyers, the grants will offer free assistance on foreclosure avoidance as well as educate buyers on how to rent or purchase a home. HUD alleges that beneficiaries of these services will help combat predatory lending practices, because buyers will be equipped with information to help them evade mortgage scams, high interest rates, and unreasonably high appraisals.

“The HUD-approved counseling agencies this funding supports are crucial in helping struggling families on a one-to-one basis to manage their money, navigate the home buying process, and secure their financial futures,” asserted HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan. “Housing counseling works for families that are in need, but also for entire neighborhoods and our housing market more broadly.”….

A handful of those “HUD-approved” organizations include high-profile liberal activist groups. One of the organizations, the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) — which in Spanish means “the Race” — harvested roughly $1.7 million from the federal housing agency.

Obama Picks Former La Raza Official to Head WH Domestic Policy Council

President Obama has picked a strong advocate of immigration reform to head his Domestic Policy Council.

The White House announced Tuesday that Cecilia Muñoz, a former senior vice president of the National Council of La Raza, would replace Melody Barnes at the top of the council. White House press secretary Jay Carney announced the appointment during his press briefing.

Muñoz is now serving as the White House’s director of intergovernmental affairs and is in charge of outreach to state and local governments.
“The president has asked, she has accepted,” Carney said.

La Raza! What do we know about the radically militant La Raza. Well, we know they promote, condone and engage in violence. We know they are communist sympathizers. Here, look at a still shot from the video you just watched.

Who is the guy on the sign that these La Raza pukes are holding? Why that handsome young devil would be Vladimir Lenin, the father of Soviet communism and of the Soviet Union itself. What did I tell you? La Raza and communism! To coin a phrase from the Four Tops, “Sewn together like a hand in glove…”

Very briefly, what exactly do we know about La Raza:

  • It supports access to driver’s licenses for illegal aliens.
  • It opposes the REAL ID Act, which requires that all driver’s license and photo ID applicants be able to verify they are legal residents of the United States, and that the documents they present to prove their identity are genuine. According to La Raza, this law “opens the door to widespread discrimination and civil rights violations.”
  • It opposes the Clear Law Enforcement for Criminal Alien Removal Act (CLEAR), which would empower state and local police to enforce federal immigration laws. La Raza argues this would “result in higher levels of racial profiling, police misconduct, and other civil rights violations.”
  • It lobbies for racial and ethnic preferences (affirmative action) and set-asides in hiring, promotions, and college admissions.
  • It supports bilingual education and bilingual ballots.
  • It supports voting rights for illegal aliens.
  • It supports stricter hate-crime laws.
  • It opposes the Aviation Transportation and Security Act requiring that all airport baggage screeners be U.S. citizens.
  • It opposed President Bush’s signing of the “Secure Fence Act of 2006” which authorized 700 miles of new border fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border.

NCLR’s total revenues in 2005 were $25.3 million. Its net assets that year were nearly $52.4 million.

At the March 2008 “Take Back America” conference sponsored by Campaign for America’s Future (CAF), NCLR joined CAF and five additional leftist organizations in announcing plans for “the most expensive [$350 million] mobilization in history this election season.” The initiative focused on voter registration, education, and get-out-the-vote drives. Other members of the coalition included MoveOn.org, Rock the Vote, ACORN, the Women’s Voices Women Vote Action Fund, and the AFL-CIO.

Well, they certainly don’t need any government “subsidies,” do they? They have plenty of money. They don’t even need any donations, they’re pretty well off. Why don’t we just go ahead and tax them? Make ‘em pay their “fair share.”

And if you noticed, they’re partnered with the usual suspects. Plenty of George Soros and plenty of big labor. All tied together with a great big red bow of the communists. Gee. Who’d uh thunk?
