Thoughts on Iraqi War Ending

The Iraq War is officially over today, as the last of American servicemen have left the country, but I still have some lingering thoughts about our almost nine year old conflict that need to be addressed.

1. Where is the declaration of victory? Where are the parades in Washington celebrating our successful conclusion to this war? Do we not honor our veterans anymore by publicly and robustly thanking them for them sacrifices? Americans should organize some event to cheer and be joyous that our guys won!!

Panetta: Iraq is because of 9/11

See what happens when you let your guard down and speak the truth? Guy’s like me print it in our blogs. Good for CIA Director Leon Panetta for speaking the truth. And I’m printing this for the sole purpose of driving the Left more batshit than they already are. No other reason.

Newly appointed US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta told American troops in Baghdad on Monday that 9/11 was the reason they were in Iraq, before he was quickly corrected by his spokesman.

“The reason you guys are here is because of 9/11. The US got attacked and 3,000 human beings got killed because of Al-Qaeda,” Panetta told about 150 soldiers at the Camp Victory US base.

“We’ve been fighting as a result of that,” he said.
