Democrats craft & pursue another stimulus

I think Democrats are incapable of accepting the fact that we can’t spend money we don’t have, that we are drowning in debt, yet they keep wanting to spend. The definition of insanity is repeating the same actions while expecting different results. So you tell me, is crafting and pushing another stimulus insanity?

Despite the failure of President Obama’s jobs bill in the Senate last week, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Monday that Senate Democrats will continue to “pursue” $30 billion in education stimulus spending included in the bill, along with $5 billion to “retain” police, firefighters and first responders.

First off, if cities, counties and States have big shortfalls, there are plenty of areas that can be cut and eliminated, “the general welfare” (Police, EMS, Firefighters) don’t have to be one of them. And secondly, it’s not the federal government’s business to fund local police, firefighters, government, etc… that’s opposite of the constitution, that’s why we have a 10th Amendment, which is part of the Bill of Rights.

“State and local budget cuts could cost as many as 280,000 teacher jobs next year unless we do more,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “That’s why President Obama proposed we invest $30 billion as part of the American Jobs Act to keep our schools well-staffed to ensure our children are well-educated.”

Like I said, it’s not the federal government’s responsibility. This is just another example of why we need to eliminate Jimmy Carter’s gift to the teachers unions, the Dept. of Education.

280,000 teachers are not going to lose their jobs if this is not passed. This is nothing but the usual Democrat fear-mongering that they don’t partake in, just ask them, they’ll tell you!

They are just incapable of comprehending the fact that they are causing the collapse of this country with their incessant spending. Democrats are doing it, nobody else. We must cut, not spend more. What the hell is so hard about that to figure out? Or does it go back to power? To hell with the country, just keep buying your supporters with goodies. No doubt that plays a big part.

Like I said before, this president never ceases to amaze me. Didn’t we just have some hearings and investigations regarding Solyndra? And here they go again, wasting more money on failed green projects. If they (Green business) can’t make it conventionally, too bad, I guess they don’t. But here’s the government propping it up again in spite of the fact that the overwhelming majority oppose this. Oh silly me. When has this regime ever listened to the will of the people?

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Energy Department on Wednesday approved two loan guarantees worth more than $1 billion for solar energy projects in Nevada and Arizona, two days before the expiration date of a program that has become a rallying cry for Republican critics of the Obama administration’s green energy program.

Energy Secretary Steven Chu said the department has completed a $737 million loan guarantee to Tonopah Solar Energy for a 110 megawatt solar tower on federal land near Tonopah, Nev., and a $337 million guarantee for Mesquite Solar 1 to develop a 150 megawatt solar plant near Phoenix.

The loans were approved under the same program that paid for a $528 million loan to Solyndra Inc., a California solar panel maker that went bankrupt after receiving the money and laid off 1,100 workers. Solyndra is under investigation by the FBI and is the focal point of House hearings on the program. Read the rest

But wait! It gets better. There is even more corruption in this latest billion dollar boondoggle that leads to the top-tier of government. Oh yes indeed. KNEE SLAPPER: Non-existent climate change causes mental illness!

HA! HA! HA! LMAO!!! The only mental illness is that suffered by the believers, and the kooks peddling that snake oil.

RATES of mental illnesses including depression and post-traumatic stress will increase as a result of climate change, a report to be released today says.

The paper, prepared for the Climate Institute, says loss of social cohesion in the wake of severe weather events related to climate change could be linked to increased rates of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress and substance abuse.

As many as one in five people reported ”emotional injury, stress and despair” in the wake of these events.

HA! HA! HA! LMAO!!! Man, oh man. These kooks just keep trying to peddle the fairy tale of climate change, don’t they? HA! HA! HA! LMAO!!!

The report, A Climate of Suffering: The Real Cost of Living with Inaction on Climate Change, called the past 15 years a ”preview of life under unrestrained global warming”.

Somebody forgot to tell the nutjob junk scientist that dreamt this fictional material up that there is no climate change, period. Only the retarded believe in it. There is no evidence and there never has been any.

”While cyclones, drought, bushfires and floods are all a normal part of Australian life, there is no doubt our climate is changing,” the report says.

Our climate is not changing. As I’ve said before, there’s never been any evidence to suggest it has, period. But wait, this idiot that wrote this report, some mad scientist by the name of Professor Ian Hickie is using the same story line that the kooks in the United States are using about hurricanes. Just replace bush fires with hurricanes and the narrative is the same.

”For instance, the intensity and frequency of bushfires is greater. This is a ‘new normal’, for which the past provides little guidance.

Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? Coincidence? No, not at all. This is just more insanity from a big group of people that will gain power and money. That’s all this crap is about, and that’s all it’s ever been about.

HA! HA! HA! LMAO!!! Is it any wonder why I call ‘em climate kooks, heavy emphasis on the word “kooks?” HA! HA! HA! LMAO!!! I told you those people are mentally sick, now do you believe me? HA! HA! HA! LMAO!!! You’ve heard the old saying “grasping at straws,” well, this is really taking it to the extreme.

Quick! Enact cap and trade, make everybody ride a bike and don’t exhale otherwise the Borg will come and assimilate us all!

It may not rank as the most compelling reason to curb greenhouse gases, but reducing our emissions might just save humanity from a pre-emptive alien attack, scientists claim.

Watching from afar, extraterrestrial beings might view changes in Earth’s atmosphere as symptomatic of a civilisation growing out of control – and take drastic action to keep us from becoming a more serious threat, the researchers explain.

The only problem with that piece of junk science is the “changes in Earth’s atmosphere” statement. It implies that humans are changing the atmosphere which is false. Any changes that have occurred are so minute, they wouldn’t really raise an eyebrow because those very minimal changes have been caused by nature, not man, and they’ve been occurring for about 6 billion years.

“A preemptive strike would be particularly likely in the early phases of our expansion because a civilisation may become increasingly difficult to destroy as it continues to expand. Humanity may just now be entering the period in which its rapid civilisational expansion could be detected by an ETI because our expansion is changing the composition of the Earth’s atmosphere, via greenhouse gas emissions,” the report states.

That is a completely untrue statement with no way of even proving it. It implies again that “Greenhouse Gases” (mainly CO2) would be responsible. About 150 million years ago when the dinosaurs roamed the Earth, Greenhouse Gases, or CO2 were ten times higher than they are today. Man wasn’t around then, how do those whackjobs spin that fact?

Oh wait! I know how the dinosaurs became extinct! With those high level greenhouse gas emissions 150 million years ago it caught the attention of the Predators, they sent a fleet over, beamed down, and hunted the dinosaurs to extinction! HA! HA! HA! LMAO!!!

“Green” aliens might object to the environmental damage humans have caused on Earth and wipe us out to save the planet. “These scenarios give us reason to limit our growth and reduce our impact on global ecosystems. It would be particularly important for us to limit our emissions of greenhouse gases, since atmospheric composition can be observed from other planets,” the authors write.
