Yeah, I can just imagine. Captain Kirk and the Enterprise orbiting Mars and Kirk beams down to the surface only to find millions of little Hugo’s running around like ants. Kirk contacts the Enterprise and says, “Beam me up Scotty, there’s no intelligent life here.”
Kirk, back aboard the Enterprise is met by Spock who tells his Captain that Mars is rich in minerals that should be extracted and taken back to Earth because they can be used for clean energy to save the planet from global warming/climate change. Kirk orders the extraction.
While the Enterprise is beaming the minerals in to the cargo bay, one of the little Hugo’s is accidentally transported aboard, and beamed on to Earth with the “it’s for the environment” saving minerals. And the rest is history!
