Most Expect U.S. Supreme Court To Overturn Health Care Law

I think it’s pretty much a forgone conclusion SCOTUS will indeed overturn ObamaCare Socialized Medicine as unconstitutional. It is. Only a moron would believe otherwise. According to Rasmussen Reports:

Most voters continue to believe the federal government does not have the authority to force people to buy health insurance, and they expect the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn President Obama’s health care law that includes that mandate.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters would like to see the Supreme Court overturn the health care law, and 54% predict that that’s what the court will do.

Thirty-seven percent (37%) would like to see the high court uphold the legality of the law, but just 26% think that’s what the court will ultimately decide. Thirteen percent (13%) are undecided about the law, and 21% aren’t sure what the Supreme Court will do about it.

The bottom line is this. Health care is not the government’s responsibility. The governments purpose is to govern, not be your nanny and take care of you. You take care of yourself. That’s how this country works, period.

Democrat congressman: The federal government has to fight childhood obesity for the budget

Okaaay.
In an opinion piece in Roll Call today, Wisconsin Democrat Rep. Ron Kind, with Donna Katen-Bahensky, argues that the federal government needs to amp up its efforts to combat childhood obesity because the epidemic poses a perilous problem to the federal budget. Kind and Katen-Bahensky write: Today, our nation spends $147 billion each year on

Will Healthcare Reform Hurt Obama Among Catholics?

In the wake of the news that Obamacare will mandate all employers to provide for birth control, including Catholic employers, many have wondered whether President Obama will damage his standing with the Catholic vote. In 2008, the Catholic vote split for Obama by a large margin, 54-45. Much of this was driven by Obama’s support in the Latino community; white Catholics actually voted McCain by a similarly broad margin, 52-47.

But now, even Hispanics are having second thoughts about Obama. According to a December Ipsos-Telemundo poll, Obama’s approval rating among Latinos is now

SCREWED: Mitt Wants Romneycare In Every State

The government does not have any business meddling in health care, period. I don’t care if it’s the federal government, state government, county government or municipal government, stay out of health care, it is not your responsibility, your responsibility is to govern, period.

According to a post I read in The Gateway Pundit, which also has video verifying the story, Mitt wants RomneyCare in all 50 states.

See what I mean about “Moderates?” They’re just the same as Democrats, the only difference is the path taken to the final destination. Moderates are a cancer in America. As you can plainly see, that cancer will slowly eat up and kill America as we know it.

I’m going to add a disclaimer to this too. I haven’t heard Romney address this issue yet, so I don’t know if this is etched in stone, I’m just letting you know this is where the conversation is going regarding health care and to prepare for the worst if the nominee is indeed Mitt Romney.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi who’s fighting to repeal ObamaCare appeared on Greta, defending RomneyCare. She says Romney’s health care plan is not the same as ObamaCare and, in fact, Romney’s plan reduces costs. She goes on to say that Romney wants all states to impose similar laws (including mandates) and that she and is all for it.

She went on to explain that she’s going to be on Romney’s Health Care Advisory Team when he’s president!

What this means is that while Romney may say he wants to repeal ObamaCare, he actually agrees with it. He believes that RomneyCare, ie, ObamaCare is a model health care plan and all states should impose similar plans.

RomneyCare and ObamaCare are the same thing. The only difference is that Romney’s was imposed at the state level where Obama’s was imposed nationally.

RomneyCare = ObamaCare = taxpayer funded abortion = death panels = socialism = government force = fascism = tyranny!!

So Romney and his co-conspirators in the GOP establishment are now planning a National Healthcare Task Force to impose top-down government run national healthcare on all 50 states!!

We all know what Reagan said about government by a group of elites and that socialism would be imposed on America through socialized health care. Well, welcome to the Socialist States Of America if Romney is elected.

If the GOP does this then the hell with them!!

I’ve already said to hell with the GOP on both the national and state levels. I do not contribute money or time to these two weak, establishment, Democrat-lite organizations and I haven’t for years and never will again.

Any money and time given by me has and does go to the individual candidates themselves. I will not aid Democrat-lite moderates in any way, shape or form.

I would urge everyone that reads this and contributes in one way or another to follow my lead. To hell with the establishment.

Schakowsky to Democrats: Vote for Obama So We Can Pass Single-Payer Health Care After November

Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), who infamously argued for the death of the private insurance industry, and whose husband drafted the political blueprint for Obamacare from federal prison, told Democrats at a rally today that they had to re-elect President Barack Obama in order to achieve single-payer health care.

The Hill reports (emphasis added):

Schakowsky, a vocal supporter of healthcare reform, warned liberals not to turn away from Obama because they didn’t get all they wanted in the new law.
“Losing in November is not an option,” she said. “It doesn’t make it easier to get single-payer or even….

Obama’s Electronic Medical Records Requirements Already Causing Job Loss

While the Old Media has been ecstatic over recent job numbers, claiming that some 200,000 jobs have been added to the economy, we should note that while Obama giveth Obama also taketh away. The media may be trying to claim the President has “created or saved” jobs (the latest weasel word is he’s created job opportunity) but his policies have also cost jobs. In particular his policies are costing jobs in the medical field.

Supreme Court Sets Aside Three Days for ObamaCare Arguments

(Reuters) – Oral arguments on President Barack Obama’s sweeping U.S. healthcare overhaul will last 5-1/2 hours spread over three days from March 26-28, the Supreme Court said on Monday.

The Supreme Court last month agreed to hear the 5-1/2 hours of oral arguments, one of the lengthiest arguments in recent years. There have been similar marathon sessions in a handful of big cases dating back over the past 70 years.

The court said it would hear one hour of arguments on March 26 on whether the legal challenges to the requirement that all Americans buy insurance must wait until after that part of the law has taken effect in 2014.
