Well, let’s just look at the facts via his record. Since he took office and implemented his “green” policies, gas has more than doubled and is continuing to rise at an alarming rate. That doesn’t sound like someone who’s terribly concerned with rising fuel costs. He’s had over three years to correct his errors, but instead, he doubles down on them.
“I’m Going To Keep Doing Everything I Can To Help You Save Money On Gas.” Really? Actions speak louder than words Barack, you are an empty suit pushing forth your funny green agenda which is a failure and will never work. Like I said, let’s look at Obama’s record, not his rhetoric:

Obama used his weekly radio and Internet address Saturday to underscore his administration’s work to develop alternative energy sources and increase fuel efficiency.
In other words, more failure and continued high fuel prices.
Alternative energy is a failure, it doesn’t work for the most part and what does is extremely expensive and inefficient, it is also subsidized. That automatically qualifies as failure. Sounds like he’s getting ready to create the conditions for everyone to drive those shitty little European style sardine cans that nobody in this country wants.
To summarize, he’s talking about spending even more money we do not have on more Solyndra’s, and conservation. Not gonna work. Wrong approach.
Economics is supply and demand. When demand goes up and the supply is limited, prices rise which means the only way to curtail that is by more supply. Pretty basic stuff that most kids learn in junior high.
As you can plainly see from his record, and what he just said on Saturday, Barack Obama is making no effort to increase the supply, therefore, prices will continue to rise.
Yes, he is doing this intentionally. If he weren’t, we would be seeing more supply in this country. And, 5 years ago when then Senator Obama and the Democrats mocked the GOP about drill baby drill and claimed we wouldn’t see any benefits for 3 to 5 years, had they voted with Republicans, we would have more supply now, thus, lower prices at the pump.
