A public relations firm closely partnered with the George Soros-funded Tides Foundation represented last week’s newsmaking anti-Wall Street march past millionaires’ homes in New York, KleinOnline has learned.
Fenton Communications has been behind the public relations strategy of a who’s who of far-left causes, organizations and activists, from Soros himself to Health Care for America Now to crafting strategies for MoveOn.org and a litany of anti-war groups.
Fenton, which works closely with Tides, first made its name representing communist dictatorships in the 1980’s.
Fenton’s founder is tied to President Obama and to a slew of Saul Alinsky-style community organizing groups directly involved in recent U.S. street protests, including in Wisconsin and New York.
The find brings further evidence the anti-Wall Street movement is a well-planned campaign and not the spontaneous uprising its leaders claim. Read the rest and learn something.

Last week, the “House Majority PAC” — a Super PAC funded by unlimited contributions from billionaire George Soros and Washington special interests like labor unions — launched a wave of attack ads against me. This latest ad represents the 4th liberal independent expenditure group to go on TV or radio on the attack against us – and I’ve only been 8 months in office!

Now, you and I both know that politics can get ugly, but this goes beyond “politics as usual.”
First of all, the Super PAC is free to skirt normal campaign finance laws that place limits on the influence special interest groups, like labor unions, can have. While Democrats decry conservative independent expenditure groups on the one hand, they are hypocritically supporting the liberal versions on the other.
Second, the Super PAC — which is accountable to no one — is using attacks that have been called false by independent, non-partisan fact-checking organizations.
What’s their attack? They’re targeting me for voting for a plan that saves Medicare from going bankrupt in the next decade and fighting tax increases at a time when our economy can least afford it.
How can you help? It’s simple. We’re gearing up for a political fight tougher than anything we faced in 2010. Your early, financial support now will 1) ensure we have the resources to fight back and 2) demonstrate to Washington’s political class that our enthusiasm hasn’t waned since last November.

You know how the Bolshevik left absolutely hates “the rich” and making a profit above a level that they get to determine. And in their funny little world, rich people could only have gotten rich by exploitation, profiteering and other ill-gotten means, and they use that retarded thought process to justify their hatred of success and envy. But yet the very man who has done everything they hate, gets a pass. Go figure! Somebody is responsible for profiteering a billion dollars by betting on the credit downgrade, and there’s only one way possible that could have happened. Insider information, and insider information like that is illegal. All indications are it’s none other than George Soros, the man who should have been sent to Treblinka or Auschwitz instead of collaborating with the Third Reich. That was a damn shame.

A mystery investor or hedge fund reportedly made a bet of almost $1billion at odds of 10/1 last month that the U.S. would lose its AAA credit rating.
Now questions are being asked of whether the trader had inside information before placing the $850 million bet in the futures market, or if the bet happened at all.
There were mounting rumours that investor George Soros, 80, famously known as ‘the man who broke the Bank of England’, could be involved.
He made more than $1 billion on currency speculation when the British pound left the Exchange Rate Mechanism on Black Wednesday in 1992.[...]
The link has been made to Mr Soros in part because he has been tied to President Obama’s administration since 2008, reported The Examiner.

But that gift only hints at the widespread influence the controversial billionaire has on the mainstream media. Soros, who spent $27 million trying to defeat President Bush in 2004, has ties to more than 30 mainstream news outlets – including The New York Times, Washington Post, the Associated Press, NBC and ABC.
Prominent journalists like ABC’s Christiane Amanpour and former Washington Post editor and now Vice President Len Downie serve on boards of operations that take Soros cash. This despite the Society of Professional Journalists’ ethical code stating: “avoid all conflicts real or perceived.”

ProPublica, which recently won its second Pulitzer Prize, initially was given millions of dollars from the Sandler Foundation to “strengthen the progressive infrastructure” – “progressive” being the code word for very liberal. In 2010, it also received a two-year contribution of $125,000 each year from the Open Society Foundations. In case you wonder where that money comes from, the OSF website is www.soros.org. It is a network of more than 30 international foundations, mostly funded by Soros, who has contributed more than $8 billion to those efforts.
The ProPublica stories are thoroughly researched by top-notch staffers who used to work at some of the biggest news outlets in the nation. But the topics are almost laughably left-wing. The site’s proud list of “Our Investigations” includes attacks on oil companies, gas companies, the health care industry, for-profit schools and more. More than 100 stories on the latest lefty cause: opposition to drilling for natural gas by hydraulic fracking. Another 100 on the evils of the foreclosure industry.
Throw in a couple investigations making the military look bad and another about prisoners at Guantanamo Bay and you have almost the perfect journalism fantasy – a huge budget, lots of major media partners and a liberal agenda unconstrained by advertising.
