RASMUSSEN: 92% Favor Strict Limits on Government To Protect the Individual

We do have strict limits on government. It’s called the Constitution, we just have a president and a political party that doesn’t adhere to it, circumvents it, and outright ignores and violates it while the other party sits on their hands with their thumbs up their asses and let those people get away with it.

We are at fault too. We keep electing these same schmucks to office year after year after year. Not to mention the 53% of you that voted for Obama and the Democrats in ’08, you bear most of the responsibility for our loss of freedom. Oh yeah, I’m still pissed at you simple mother f***ers that fell for that Hope & Change sham. My God you people are simple. Who actually couldn’t see what was coming?

And now, four years later freedom seems to matter with you people again. If it was up to me I’d kick your sorry asses out of the country and strip your citizenship forever.

Voters believe too much government power is a dangerous thing and put a very high value on protecting the rights of the individual.

Sixty-five percent (65%) of Likely U.S. Voters agree with the statement that a government powerful enough to do everything you want is also powerful enough to take away everything you have. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that only 23% disagree with that statement. Eleven percent (11%) are not sure about it.

For the record, those 11% that aren’t sure… You’re freaking morons. Now go kill yourselves and get it over with. Dumbasses.

MUST SEE VIDEO: The Freedom Collection

There can be no doubt, President Bush was committed to freedom. Whether you like him or not, you can’t argue that.

In this video, you can clearly see the difference between President Bush and Barack Hussein Obama.

The Freedom Collection is a central feature of the Human Freedom initiative at the George W. Bush Institute. It is an active, living archive that documents the struggle for democracy and human freedom around the world through the personal stories of men and women who have led or participated in freedom movements. Using video interviews, artifacts, collected papers, and other materials, the Freedom Collection strives to inspire and provide insight to the current generations of freedom advocates, expanding access to information and successful strategies for change. It also reinforces for Americans and others living in free societies the moral and practical importance of supporting pro-democracy movements, remaining actively engaged in the world, and safeguarding our own foundations of liberty. The Freedom Collection can be accessed online through an interactive website beginning March 28, 2012.

40,000 hits on liberty

They just can’t help themselves can they? 40,000 new and mostly unnecessary laws go in to effect this year. Every new law created takes a piece of your liberty and freedom.

via MSNBC:

About 40,000 state laws taking effect at the start of the new year will change rules about  getting abortions in New Hampshire, learning about gays and lesbians in California, getting jobs in Alabama and even driving golf carts in Georgia.

Former Obama Budget Director Peter Orszag: “We Need Less Democracy”

What have I been harping on all day today about members of the Democrat Party again? I guess I’ve been saying it for a number of years now, too. They aren’t Democrats anymore, they’re communists. Getting harder and harder to defend those people when Obamaite Peter Orszag comes out and says we need less democracy. I think Pete needs to be lynched. Yeah, I’m dead serious about that.

For the record. These types of people got in to positions of power as a result of 52% of you voting Democrat in the 2008 election. Still think that was a good idea?

As I’ve said in past posts, we have to have the House Un-American Activities Committee again and another Joe McCarthy in the Senate, or one day, we’ll wish we had. The enemy is within.

To solve the serious problems facing our country, we need to minimize the harm from legislative inertia by relying more on automatic policies and depoliticized commissions for certain policy decisions. In other words, radical as it sounds, we need to counter the gridlock of our political institutions by making them a bit less democratic.

A bit less, huh Pete? Obama and company have already stolen about one-third of the freedom we used to have prior to January 20th, 2009, and now Orszag is advocating taking more. That’s the thing with people of his ideology, it’s never enough.

In 1775 John Adams wrote in a letter to Abigail, But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever. Don’t you think for a minute the Democrats, particularly within this regime are not acutely aware of that truth. Little by little they have actively pursued the taking of freedom under the guise of “Public fill-in-the-blank.”

More proof leftists hate free-speech

The left does not embrace the 1st Amendment of the Constitution, they don’t like free-speech unless of course it is speech they approve of. If it were up to them, books would be burned, a commisar stationed at every publishing house and media outlet, they want talkradio regulated (unless its leftist talktadio), they work hard to get the opposing side taken off the air, and they go after anybody that chooses to read something by someone they don’t approve of. They have no room and are completely intolerant of those that don’t agree with them. Actions speak louder than words, all you have to do is look at their actions.

Take NFL wideout for the Cincinnati Bengals, Chad Ochocinco. He’s reading Glenn Beck’s new book, and the left, to no surprise, doesn’t approve.

Can anyone give me an example of the right acting like this? No, I didn’t think so. See, we believe you have the freedom to read and say what you want, we may not like it, but we don’t intimidate, attack and try like hell to shut down opposing views. So, who’s for freedom of speech and who’s not? The answer is crystal clear.

The following are a few Twitter snippets. You can find the whole story on The Blaze.

Minnesota one of the most “least free” states in the country

No real surprise to those of us that live in the “Land of 10,000 regulations.” It’s absolutely ridiculous here, all the nanny’s minding your own business, I hate ‘em all. Some of us that live here wonder how much worse it can get with the DFL and progressives protecting ourselves from ourselves in the name of “public (fill-in-the-blank),” but it can, and it is. California, New Jersey and New York. Hard for those of us that live in Minnesota to believe.

This from abroad. The U.K. Daily Mail:

It might be the ‘Land of the Free’, but some states certainly aren’t living up to the words of America’s national anthem.

New York, New Jersey and California are the least free in the U.S., based on an index of public policies affecting your individual freedoms.

The rankings are based economic, social and personal freedoms of Americans – and include measures such as taxes, government spending and regulations.

But New Hampshire, South Dakota and Indiana are the most free states in the U.S., according to Virginia think tank the Mercatus Center.

New York is by far the least free state and has had ‘the most interstate emigration of any state over the last decade’, the ‘Freedom in the 50 States’ report said.

The state also has ‘by far the highest taxes in the country’ and ‘only Alaska has more government debt as a percentage of the economy’.

New York’s smoking and gun laws are ‘extremely’ strict, cigarette taxes are the ‘highest in the county’ and ‘motorists are highly regulated’[...]

California ‘aggressively interferes in the personal lives of its citizens’ and ‘needs to cut government spending’, the report said.

It added that labour laws are ‘extremely strict’ [...]

New Hampshire’s gun laws are ‘among the most liberal in the country’, government debt has fallen and ‘effective retail-tax rates on wine and spirits are zero’.

It is also the only state in the U.S. with no seatbelt law for adults [...]

Looking at the chart it pretty much tells you that the least free states have a heavy influence of Democrat policies, the most free do not. Kinda proves my point about the Democrats not really embracing freedom, doesn’t it? Hey! It is what it is. The truth holds no agenda.

How do you like the land of the free, now?

“Land of the free?” That went the way of the dinosaur. Do you believe we are more free now than we were just 5 or 6 years ago? Of course you don’t, because you know we are not. Welcome to the new East Germany America!

I can’t get over that little half pint cop with the little man syndrome. That guy’s is a little dick, a little man. He needs a bigger plastic badge from the bottom of a Cracker Jack box to hide behind.

That’s exactly what it is with Officer Half Pint. He’s got what some call, little man syndrome, but its real term is “Napoleon Complex.” This half pint Keystone Kop is a mental! HA! HA! HA! LMAO!!!

Napoleon complex (or Napoleon syndrome) is a colloquial term used to describe a type of inferiority complex suffered by people who are short. Alfred Adler pioneered the psychological work on inferiority complexes, and used Napoléon Bonaparte as an example of someone who he thought was driven to extremes by a psychological need to compensate for what he saw as a handicap: his small stature. Typically people with this complex will compensate in many ways, reaching beyond their personal performance. A person with a Napoleon Complex may set pictures in their home to lower levels and make other such accommodations which will enable them to feel taller in their surroundings.

Compensatory behavior exhibited by those with a Napoleon complex may also include being overly aggressive or argumentative which all serve to give the person a sense of greater self worth.
