WaPo’s Ezra Klein suggests revoking seniors right to vote

I told you leftism is a mental illness. This is the progressive agenda folks, on display for all to see. The left is nothing but a lie. Aren’t they the one’s that supposedly champion “equal rights?” Yeah. Who was actually dumb enough to fall for that one?

Ezra Klein. A 20-something kid who’s still wet behind the ears and has no life experiences worthy of being noted. None. He’s an indoctrinated progressive apparatchik that would make an excellent commissar in the old Soviet Union. There is no question at all, this kid is a “useful idiot.” Real Americans refer to people like him as “educated idiots with a degree.”

They are the type of people who can’t change a flat tire, so you wind up having to do it for them as they stand over your shoulder telling you that you are doing it wrong, and instructing you how to do it “the right way,” even though you make a living changing flat tires, and they have never gotten their hands dirty in their entire lives. Matter of fact, I’d be willing to bet money Ezra Klein doesn’t know how to change a flat. Oh yes, that does indeed qualify him as a lesser man.

Progressives don’t like the constitution, the founders, the American idea, they like nothing of this country, they are the one’s that want to “transform America,” they are more of an enemy to this country than any terrorist group or nation. Just look at what Klein writes in the Washington Post, Should the votes of the young count more than the votes of the old?

Understand this. It’s not a rhetorical, hypothetical question he’s asking. It is what he believes, and so do most progressives.

America should implement weighted voting to make voting more objective and fair, and give the young more power, because the consequences of political decisions will affect them the longest. Weighted voting would restore power to twenty and thirty year olds, where it resided before the advent of medical science. With the aid of computers, it would be easy to give everyone a Voting Score, just like we all have a credit score.

Did you notice how this got twisted in to a “fairness” issue? Justifying the core belief of progressives that we are not all equal, some should be more equal than others. That’s exactly what he said.

The big reason for this is very clear. Generally speaking, the older you get, the more conservative you become. That’s a problem for progressives, so to answer that problem, just take away the right of older people to vote.

There’s more lunacy from this little twit:

If your response to this is that it’s crazy and offensive, that all American adults are equal and so is their vote, you might want to familiarize yourself with the U.S. Senate, where a Wyoming resident’s vote is worth almost 70 times as much as a Californian’s, or the electoral college, where the presidency could be won by a candidate who loses the popular vote 4:1.

All of which is to say, we already reweight voting in this country. But we do it to give residents from small states more power. Does that really make more sense than reweighting by age, education, race, income or some other demographic characteristic?

Obviously Klein has no knowledge of how this country works, history, the founders, politics or government. Do you see what he’s doing? He’s bitching about, and wanting to change the entire country in to a progressive state.

This kid is so dumb he doesn’t have a clue about the Electoral College. True, you can win the presidency without the popular vote. It’s happened 4 times in our nations history. In 1824 John Quincy Adams, 1876 with Rutherford B. Hayes, in 1888 Benjamin Harrison won, and again in 2000 with George W. Bush. But, the thing to remember, we are not a democracy. We are a republic. And also, if you were educated before the U.S. Dept. of Education was created, you know the Electoral College is the most fair way to elect a president and you also know that the college is not statutorily required to vote for the candidate that took their state.

To get a full understanding of the way it really is, not how you’ve been indoctrinated by the public re-education camps commonly called public schools and universities, I would suggest reading and studying Article II of the constitution along with the Federalist #68. Then you will know the truth.

One of the questions I have is this. How can a one time, very prestigious newspaper like the Washington Post keep an embarrassment like Ezra Klein on the payroll? That defies logic.
