Complete & Total Incompetence: Obama says he didn’t know about U.S. gun smuggling operation

The complete and utter incompetence of this president never ceases to amaze me. Even Carter wasn’t this bad. Barack Obama is either incredibly stupid and incompetent, or he’s lying.

Under fire for an operation that allowed smuggling of U.S. weapons across the nation’s border with Mexico, President Obama said in an interview that neither he nor Attorney General Eric Holder authorized the controversial “Operation Fast and Furious.”…

Obama told Univision‘s Jorge Ramos that President Felipe Calderon wasn’t informed of the operation because he — the president of the United States — wasn’t informed either. When asked whether he knew of the weapon smuggling plan, Obama responded that it is “a pretty big government” with “a lot of moving parts.”

Yeah! That’s the problem… big government. I smell a “blame Bush” moment coming in the near future regarding this operation.

How can he not know about this? I’ve known about it for a month and posted about it on the 4th. CBS News has known longer than I have, they filmed it and even aired it on the news. Like I said, how can he not know about it? He’s either lying or incredibly stupid. I have a hard time believing he’s incredibly stupid.

“Our policy is to ram up the interdiction of guns flowing south because that’s contributing to some of the security problems that are taking place in Mexico and what we’re doing is trying to build the kind of cooperation between Mexico and the United States that we haven’t seen before,” Obama told Univision.

The president said his attorney general has been “very clear that our policy is to catch gunrunners and put them into jail.”

Yet this gun running operation was ongoing under his nose. Go figure.

Another great idea by the administration: Look the other way & let guns cross the border to the cartels

Incompetent. Stupid. Amateur. Corrupt. Radical-infested. Those are just a few accurate descriptors of this administration which has been nothing less than a giant clusterfuck since day one. Since we had to have a Democrat this time around, it should have been Hilary Clinton. I can honestly say yeah, I miss the good old days of the Carter administration. This presidency is a complete bust. I sure hope those of you that voted “hope and change” have learned your lesson. If you haven’t, well, the definition of insanity is repeating the same act while expecting a different result. You dig?

Imagine if you will the Bush administration ordering ATF agents to look the other way when American guns headed to the Mexican cartels passed illegally through the border. How would that make you feel? Now for the 64 thousand dollar question. Would you still be that fired up if it were the Obama administration that gave that order?

Do you know how to tell if you’re a phony, astroturf citizen? You will make excuses for one, and be outraged about the other. That means you are a follower, a simpleton following the pied piper and putting your loyalties to a man, not the law, and the country. Which one are you?

(CBS News) WASHINGTON – Federal agent John Dodson says what he was asked to do was beyond belief.

He was intentionally letting guns go to Mexico?

“Yes ma’am,” Dodson told CBS News. “The agency was.”

An Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms senior agent assigned to the Phoenix office in 2010, Dodson’s job is to stop gun trafficking across the border. Instead, he says he was ordered to sit by and watch it happen.

2010. Why that would be Obama’s watch, wouldn’t it? This lunacy is beyond belief.

“I’m boots on the ground in Phoenix, telling you we’ve been doing it every day since I’ve been here,” he said. “Here I am. Tell me I didn’t do the things that I did. Tell me you didn’t order me to do the things I did. Tell me it didn’t happen. Now you have a name on it. You have a face to put with it. Here I am. Someone now, tell me it didn’t happen.”

Sounds pretty convincing to me. I understand an investigation is forthcoming. It should not be conducted by the Obama administration, we already know what that outcome would be.

Agent Dodson and other sources say the gun walking strategy was approved all the way up to the Justice Department. The idea was to see where the guns ended up, build a big case and take down a cartel. And it was all kept secret from Mexico.

ATF named the case “Fast and Furious.”

Surveillance video obtained by CBS News shows suspected drug cartel suppliers carrying boxes of weapons to their cars at a Phoenix gun shop. The long boxes shown in the video being loaded in were AK-47-type assault rifles.

So it turns out ATF not only allowed it – they videotaped it.

Remember, videotape doesn’t matter to the Justice Dept. The New Black Panthers case showed us that.

In related news. Our agents in Mexico, even the undercover agents, well, you won’t believe what the incompetent fool has ordered. This defies logic. I’ll just give you the headline, and you need to be sitting down for this one. Obama: No Arming of U.S. Agents in Mexico. How much longer until this buffoon is sent back to Chicago? It can’t come soon enough.
