Donna Summer, The “Queen Of Disco” Dies At 63

The music industry and the public lost an icon yesterday as Donna Summer died. She was only 63 and was battling lung cancer, presumably from inhaling toxic particles in New York during the 9/11 attacks.

Rest in peace Donna. You were one of the greats.

Donna Summer — the Queen of Disco — died this morning after a battle with cancer … TMZ has learned.

We’re told Summer was in Florida at the time of her death. She was 63 years old.

Sources close to Summer tell us … the singer was trying to keep the extent of her illness under wraps. We spoke to someone who was with Summer a couple of weeks ago … who says she didn’t seem too bad.

In fact, we’re told she was focused on trying to finish up an album she had been working on.

Summer was a 5-time Grammy winner who shot to superstardom in the ’70s with iconic hits like “Last Dance,” “Hot Stuff” and “Bad Girls.”

The lightbulb ban reversal failed, and as usual, thank the goddam Democraps. This should prove beyond a doubt those assholes are not about freedom and just want to control everything in your life, but the odd part is, you keep electing those jackwads, so “we” (in a general sense) are doing it to ourselves. I wonder what’s next on their list? What kind of food we can cook and eat? Oh wait, they’re on that one, just ask Michelle Obama. How warm we can keep our houses in the winter and how cool in the summer, when we may use our appliances? Oh gee, they’re on that one too with the “Smart Grid.”

And some of you actually believe we live in a free and great country? Well, we used to… prior to January 20, 2009. Yeah, yeah, I know. Bush signed the bill that contained the lightbulb ban, and I still want to kick him in the head for that. Dumbf—er. But it was the Democraps that snuck that in to the bill.

When are people finally going to accept the fact that they aren’t Democrats anymore, they’re communists. All you need to do is look what they’ve already done, a sane person can’t argue what they (Democrats) really are. If you want more regulations, restrictions, bans, taxes, etc… just keep voting for those assholes, you’ll get your wish.
