Dennis The Menace Goes Down!

A preview of November. The radical left is going down. First Dennis Kucinich, next Barack Obama! The main difference between the two? Kucinich knows he’s a radical leftist, Obama actually believes he’s mainstream.

In the shadow of Super Tuesday was a Democrat Primary in Ohio which saw incumbent kook Dennis Kucinich trounced by rival Marcy Kaptur by nearly 2 to 1.

Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich (D-Ohio), the two-time presidential candidate and icon of the antiwar left, suffered a bruising primary defeat Tuesday…

With about 90 percent of the vote in, Marcy Kaptur led 60 to 36 percent.

Finally! Congress talks impeachment!

Barack Obama should have been impeached when he and the Democrats changed the rules and forced the partisan ObamaCare socialized medicine debacle, that the overwhelming majority do not want down our throats. I could continue down a litany of impeachable items that fall squarely on Obama, but the GOP was gun-shy being that the Bill Clinton impeachment turned out so well. I’m still pissed about that. It never should have gone forward, that was pure partisan hatred by my side, I never was for impeaching Clinton, but this guy, this Barack Obama, let the lynching impeachment begin!

Congress (both John Boehner & Harry Reid) have been working feverishly to get this debt business under control, and everything I’m hearing is that Obama will veto it. So, long story short and the bottom line is this. If the country defaults it is Obama’s doing and nobody else’s. Also, if Obama allows the country to default, he will be impeached and removed from office. Those aren’t my words.

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) said Monday that President Barack Obama “would be impeached” if the nation falls into default.[...]

King isn’t the first Republican to suggest that Obama should be impeached over the debt crisis.

Rep. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) said earlier this month it would be “an impeachable offense” for Obama to raise the debt ceiling without congressional approval. In April, former Reagan administration official Bruce Fein drafted articles of impeachment in hopes that House Republicans would introduce them.

The Regime is imploding, and they’re doing it to themselves. He is one of, if not the worst president of all time. No doubt the worst over the last century, he makes Jimmy Carter look good.

This kind of puts me personally in a quandary. Do I hope Obama continues to refuse to put the country first and allow us to default? At least that way we’d get rid of him before 2013 with the added bonus of perhaps prison time. That just might be what’s ultimately best for the country, but at this point in time, it does not appear to be the case.

And let’s not forget a Democrat congressman also has mentioned the “I” word:

And Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) in March said the air attacks on Libya are impeachable acts.

Whatever the outcome of this is, it falls squarely on Barack Obama.

I’m with Dennis “The Menace” Kucinich!

I still have to wonder if someone spiked my Coke with a little hooch, pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming, but I fully support Rep. Dennis Kucinich’s efforts to defund the Libyan attack. I know if I were in congress, I’d cosponsor his bill. Wow! Unbelievable. We are such polar opposites politically, I’d never imagine myself supporting anything by Kucinich. This time I do.

Liberal Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich plans to offer up a measure that would defund U.S. efforts in Libya.

According to a letter blasted to his email list, Kucinich plans to offer an amendment to the next spending bill to ensure no federal funds go to the bombing campaign in Libya.

The amendment would give Congress a more concrete opportunity than they’ve had to challenge President Barack Obama on Libya, a subject that has riled both sides of the aisle.

In the letter Kucinich addressed to his fellow lawmakers, the Ohio Democrat said Obama scooted around the Constitution, “which gives only Congress the power to declare war.” He also says the no-fly zone will cost between $400 and 800 million.

“We have already spent trillions of dollars on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, both of which descended into unwinnable quagmires,” Kucinich wrote in his letter. “Now, the president is plunging the United States into yet another war we cannot afford. While the administration assures us that that the U.S. will hand-off its lead role to coalition partners within days, we have not been notified of long-term plans or goals following initial air strikes in the country. The timeline the president gave to Congress was summarized with one word: ‘limited.’”

Aside from the constitutional issues that Kucinich brought up in a video we posted yesterday, we can’t afford this. We’re up to about 300 million right now, with no exit strategy, and Fox News is reporting we may need to ask congress for additional funds to continue. Excuse me, aren’t we broke? A 1.65 trillion dollar deficit is projected for this year. Probably more now, because of this, and a debt of 14 trillion dollars. What’s more important? Khadaffy? Or our country? I’m with Kucinich on this one.
