Nothing To See Here, Just A Typical Democrat Congressional Candidate

What is it again I’ve said about the left, and what I’ve said about them being mentally ill? HA! HA! HA! LMFAO!!!!

Your typical Democrat, 58-year-old Cynthia Clinkingbeard is bipolar and also suffers from narcissistic disorder.

Employees at the store on Eagle Road and Chinden Boulevard say they called police when 58-year-old Cynthia Clinkingbeard made strange, threatening comments to three workers and pulled out a handgun.

Clinkingbeard filed as a candidate to run in the primary for U.S. Representative. She is running as a democrat for the District 1 seat against Congressman Raul Labrador (R-Idaho). Clinkingbeard spoke to KTVB last Friday night as a witness to a Boise house fire; at the end of the interview, she says “Clinkingbeard for U.S. House of Representatives”…

Clinkingbeard is charged with three counts of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was booked into the Ada County Jail and as of Saturday afternoon was still in jail.

Public records: Clinkingbeard’s medical license revoked because of mental illness

According to the Idaho State Board of Medicine, Clinkingbeard was a doctor specializing in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. According to public records, her license was permanently revoked in 2005.

The documents say Clinkingbeard suffers from bipolar disorder: “[Clinkingbeard's] bipolar condition is permanent and her manic episodes are progressively getting worse.”

The Board also said she had self-prescribed medication using her medical license. The Board determined she could not practice medicine safely.

The document states: “The seriousness of her bipolar disorder is exacerbated by the additional dual diagnosis of narcissistic personality disorder which has cause Respondent’s resistance to treatment and lack of insight.”

For Ohio Governor John Kasich, Tuesday’s annual State of the State address offered an important venue to talk up his administration’s achievements and goals.  Kasich gave this year’s speech at Wells Academy, a school in  Steubenville, instead of the traditional Statehouse venue.

The Ohio Democrat Party is led by Chris “Tea Party F***ers” Redfern, best known for a profane 2010 outburst against Obamacare opponents. Based on their behavior in Steubenville, even November’s Big Labor victory against fiscal reality hasn’t improved the attitudes of Ohio leftists!

State Rep. Bob Hagan (D – Youngstown), a Progressive kook’s Progressive kook, bused in 35 protestors for the event. Worse, Hagan handed out several tickets for Kasich’s speech to Occupy protestors ranting outside.

Prominent former Democrat Representative Artur Davis talking of a switch to GOP

It looks to be pretty toxic having that “D” behind your name these days, particularly if you are a shill for Barack Obama. And to the regular rank and file Democrats I can say this with complete empathy. I feel your pain. Remember, it was only four years ago when the “R” behind your name was just as toxic.

We wrote about Artur Davis in this blog, nothing bad, I just remember him being a real Democrat, not a new Socialist-Democrat like the party has become.

Like most real Democrats that are still around these days, it appears Artur doesn’t like what his party has transformed to, and could switch sides. The Washington Post has more:

Former Democrat congressman Artur Davis, who has been a thorn in the side of Democrats in the aftermath of his loss in the 2010 Alabama gubernatorial primary, is a man without a political party….

“I’ve heard some people at the national level encouraging me to run as an independent for my old office,” Davis said, referring to the congressional seat he left to run for governor. But he said his home state makes it more difficult than almost any other state to run as an independent. “Alabama is not friendly to independent candidacies.”

Davis also suggested running as a Republican might be a viable option….

Davis said he doesn’t identify with a political party in his current role as an increasingly vocal pundit. He caused a splash recently by speaking out in favor of a voter ID law. Given that the Democratic Party regards such laws as an attempt to disenfranchise black voters, having an African-American former Democratic congressman espouse that view wasn’t exactly helpful to the party’s cause.

This week, he wrote a piece for the conservative National Review Online suggesting Sen. Ben Nelson’s (D-Neb.) retirement was due to “an exclusively liberal” Democratic Party.

Davis’s criticism of his party ramped up in the 2010 primary, when he carved out a more moderate persona….

Davis has also recently contributed money to the campaigns of two Republicans, former congresswoman Heather Wilson, who is running for Senate in New Mexico, and Mississippi Gov.-elect Phil Bryant.

Well… Artur Davis “gets it.” How about some of you Democrats that read this blog?

Don’t Mess With West Texas Or Eastern New Mexico

I just sent a comment to the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) regarding its proposal to list the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard (DSL) on the “endangered” list of the Endangered Species Act, and I feel great about it.   Absolutely great!  After I pressed the “enter” button on my computer and sent this comment to the FWS, I celebrated by eating a third of a roll of raw Christmas cookie dough instead of baking these cookies for an up-coming Christmas party.  My friends at the party will understand – this was done in the name of something big!

Initiative would let illegal aliens live & work in California legally

Let’s just cut the crap and call it what it is. Blanket amnesty for all of California’s illegal aliens. Guess what party this brilliant idea came from?

SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Nearly 1 million undocumented immigrants [illegal aliens] could live and work openly in California with little or no fear of deportation under an initiative unveiled Friday by a state legislator and others.

Assemblyman Felipe Fuentes, a Democrat, is helping spearhead the measure, called the California Opportunity and Prosperity Act.

Oh gee, another swell idea from a Democrat. Why am I not surprised? They have no regard for the law or constitution, so how could this come as any surprise to anyone?

Why even bother with borders and sovereignty? Why even bother with countries? We’re all one great big utopian world! What the hell does this dope think? Honest to God Felipe, sober up. This lunacy just keeps getting better and better!

First off, in the remote chance this happens, California would be in violation of federal law. If you ask me, Felipe Fuentes needs to be charged with a crime right now, hell, he would be if I were president. I’d keep him in a prison cell till hell froze over, strip his citizenship and send him on his way.

The sad part of this whole situation is, if it passes, California will be in direct violation of federal law, nothing will happen as long as Barack Obama is president, he will allow it. And in the meantime, take states to court and sue them because they are enforcing federal immigration law. I’ll bet my last dollar that would happen.

Regardless whether Californians would support such a measure, implementation would depend upon the federal government agreeing not to prosecute participants.

Like I said, you know damned well Obama would look the other way.

Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, a Republican, blasted the proposal as an attempt to sidestep immigration law. He predicted that it wouldn’t have a “snowball’s chance in hell” of winning voter approval.

“There’s a proper process for coming to this country,” Donnelly said. “Why don’t you respect that?”

That’s the problem. Democrats don’t respect the law or the constitution. They respect “social justice.” Actions speak louder than words, and we’ve all seen the actions particularly over the last three years.

Obama awards $433 million no-bid contract for unproven small pox drug to a top donor!

Ahh, the lack of honor and integrity that spews from this regime would make even former President Richard M. Nixon roll over in his grave. The most disgusting and corrupt White House in this nations history is at it again, knee-deep in political kickbacks! Gosh, if this isn’t the “Hope & Change” we all were banking on, I don’t know what is!

Now I know some of the afraid-of-their-own-shadow crowd on the big government side of the aisle will defend this waste of the taxpayers money as a “public safety issue.” Wrong answer, Buckwheat. Smallpox has been eradicated and only exists in freezers at a U.S. government installation and a Russian institute. Nowhere else.

Also, the United States has the smallpox vaccine, enough for everybody. Oh, and the really neat part about this newest scandal, there is no way (ethically) to test this new drug. Bottom line, if it fails, you die. Period. This is a political favor, nothing else.

Over the last year, the Obama administration has aggressively pushed a $433-million plan to buy an experimental smallpox drug, despite uncertainty over whether it is needed or will work.

Senior officials have taken unusual steps to secure the contract for New York-based Siga Technologies Inc., whose controlling shareholder is billionaire Ronald O. Perelman, one of the world’s richest men and a longtime Democrat Party donor.

See, you just knew when it comes to Obama and the Democrats, favors need to be granted.

Siga was awarded the final contract in May through a “sole-source” procurement in which it was the only company asked to submit a proposal. The contract calls for Siga to deliver 1.7 million doses of the drug for the nation’s biodefense stockpile. The price of approximately $255 per dose is well above what the government’s specialists had earlier said was reasonable, according to internal documents and interviews.

Once feared for its grotesque pustules and 30% death rate, smallpox was eradicated worldwide as of 1978 and is known to exist only in the locked freezers of a Russian scientific institute and the U.S. government. There is no credible evidence that any other country or a terrorist group possesses smallpox.

If there were an attack, the government could draw on $1 billion worth of smallpox vaccine it already owns to inoculate the entire U.S. population and quickly treat people exposed to the virus. The vaccine, which costs the government $3 per dose, can reliably prevent death when given within four days of exposure.

Ahh yes! The Obama Regime picking winners and losers again! Leonid Brezhnev would be proud of Obama’s central planning!

Siga’s drug, an antiviral pill called ST-246, would be used to treat people who were diagnosed with smallpox too late for the vaccine to help. Yet the new drug cannot be tested for effectiveness in people because of ethical constraints — and no one knows whether animal testing could prove it would work in humans.

Well, since this is Obama’s baby, I think he should be the guinea pig. He’s the one that should be infected, then treated with this drug to see if it works or not. Come on Mr. President, it’s time for you to step up to the plate, be a man and lead by example.

Democrat Businessman, Obama ’08 Supporter Speaks Again

Does the name Steve Wynn ring a bell? It should, we’ve posted about him before. He’s a big time Democrat and threw his support and money behind Barack Obama in ’08. Steve is the CEO of Wynn Resorts. He’s a big deal in the business world, loves Harry Reid, is a big time Las Vegas hotel operator. In other words, for you on the left, he’s one of you guys.

Just when I lost faith in all Democrats, figuring the entire lot of them have been lost to the hammer and sickle ideology, along comes Steve Wynn. A man who will tell the truth, instead of being a party loyalist excuse-maker. I admire that, if there are any other real Democrats left in the country, you need to follow his example. Those that will attack Mr. Wynn, are the communists, the progressives, the statists, the scum of the Earth that do not have the right to call themselves Americans. For all you Democrats, it’s time to pick a side. Ideology or America, those your choices, period. To put it simply, America, or Barack Obama and the Democrat Party. It’s your choice.

There are people in there who think the government should give them more just because they are alive.

There are people who are opposing government spending.

That group is not homogeneous.

What you do have is anxiety and fear that is endemic in the United States of America… due to the government.

I am watching my employees standard of living due to deficits.

The public is making the connection between deficits and their standard of living.

They’re seeing their wages go to 80 cent dollars to 70 cent dollars.

I have not been able to keep up with the effect of deficits.

You’re seeing that on Occupy Wall Street.

You’re seeing it taken to the next level in Greece.

People are trying to break into a parliament primarily controlled by the Unions.

There comes a moment when the population realizes that it has to stop.

Rich people are now being defined by the administration as people who make $1 million dollars

Well, most of the businesses in America other than giant corporations are paying taxes under partnerships or S corporations.

We have an administration that is fanning the fires that this is somehow undeserved profligate millionaires. It is worse than hypocrisy.

It’s one thing if it’s kids.

Americans are waking up; It’s taking the form of anger and dissatisfaction with the government. And I think that’s probably right.

IT IS GOING TO GET WORSE.

One side is right, and one side is wrong.

You can not sustain these levels of deficits.

The Democrats are bankrupting this country.
