Leftists vow to challenge Obama in Democrat primary

Hey wow! Kind of a Tea Party movement going on in the Democrat Party, but you really can’t say Tea Party or Tea Party-like, those people are so far removed from the constitution and our founders that it really doesn’t make sense to use any patriotic type of label. Why don’t we call it a Bolshevik Party? Yeah! That’s the ticket! The Bolshevik Party. Good enough!

The main guy getting the primary gig going on that side is none other than the King of all Nanny Staters, Ralph Nader. Y’know, as loopy as old Ralph can be on a lot of things, he is a likeable fellow, and he’s honest. I don’t mind Ralph Nader much at all, but I’d never vote for him, either.

Worried the liberal voice is being drowned out in the presidential campaign, progressive leaders said Monday they want to field a slate of candidates against President Obama in the Democratic primaries to make him stake out liberal stances as he seeks re-election.

Ralph Nader warns that without an intraparty challenge the liberal agenda “will be muted and ignored,” the one-man primary will kill voter enthusiasm and voters won’t get a chance to reflect on the real differences that divide the Democratic and Republican parties.

“What we are looking at now is the dullest presidential campaign since Walter Mondale — and that’s saying something, believe me,” Mr. Nader told The Washington Times. Read the rest
