They (Wonkette) scrubbed the hit piece on Trig Palin, Sarah’s child with Downs Syndrome. I’m glad I took screenshots and published them of that post which can be found here. You never know when things like that will come in handy.

Speaking for myself, I’m glad they pulled it, but it was never my intent to jump on a “pull the post” wagon train, nor was I thinking they owed an apology because as we all know, that apology would be disingenuous and insincere, coming three days after its posting. Within hours, yeah I could see it and accept it, this is just damage control and nothing else.

In the interest of covering this item in its entirety. These are the screenshots of Wonkette’s “apology.” You should note that they turned their comments off as you can plainly see in the screenshot.
