There’s Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya, we know about those. If you’ve been paying attention you would come to the conclusion that we are engaged in a fourth covert war, or, you would be suspecting it. The worst part is it’s covert and we have involved ourselves in another country’s civil war. Ah yes! Nothing like getting bogged down and taking sides in a civil war, interfering in another country’s internal affairs, reminiscent of Vietnam. Oh wait, we’re already doing that in the “quick in and out” operation in Libya. Add Yemen to the list.

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration has intensified the American covert war in Yemen, exploiting a growing power vacuum in the country to strike at militant suspects with armed drones and fighter jets, according to American officials.

The acceleration of the American campaign in recent weeks comes amid a violent conflict in Yemen that has left the government in Sana, a United States ally, struggling to cling to power.
