Here it is Monday already. When I was on vacation recently, LML got blasted with some comments. Let me make this perfectly clear. When I’m on vacation, I am not interested in carrying on blog type conversations, in fact, I’m not interested in blogging at all. That’s one of the reasons why it’s called a vacation.
I have a few comments, one is darned near a novel, and I’m going to deal with some of those later today in case you’re wondering about that. I should have turned the comments off sooner rather than later during my time off. So I guess it’s on me. That won’t happen again.
Last week was my first week back, and my long week at work which included working both days (12 hours per day) this past weekend. I worked 32 hours just Friday, Saturday and Sunday alone, and dealing with blog stuff during this time frame was not in the top 3 or 4 items on my “to do list.”
Now I have the day off and it’s time to take care of business… blog business that is (it’s too hot to be out on the lake today). I’m going to make a good faith effort in to catching up.
Now for commenting. Say your piece, make your point, and have the evidence to back it up, by evidence I don’t mean a “news item” from MoveOn or Media Matters or any other progressive group with an agenda that spews nothing but lies and propaganda, real evidence is necessary.
And if you use something from the media please verify it with additional sources, as we all know, it isn’t the media for the most part anymore, it’s mostly left-wing propaganda. So fact-check those sources, please.
Lastly, Trolls. Everyone knows what a troll is, right? If not, here’s the basic description:
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
I 86 trolls with extreme prejudice. Unlike some of my fellow bloggers that 86 for a week or two, maybe a month, when I do it, it’s permanent. I refuse to negotiate with trolls. That’s my policy and there are no exceptions.
So… with that being said, I have some business to catch up on.
