This is why we’re bankrupt

Progressive Democrat policies are bankrupting America. Before some of you start, the proof is in the results of years of left-wing politics. Look at Detroit, controlled by Progressive Democrats for 50 years, We can crank it up a notch to states. Look at California. Progressive Democrat for as long as I can remember, they have a budget deficit twice the size of the country of Greece. New York and Michigan come to mind as well. What’s the common denominator? What’s the common history? Blue. The facts are the facts and you can’t change them or excuse them, because you don’t like them. How about the country as a whole. 5 plus trillion in new spending last year alone. How are we going to pay for it? Tax the rich? That’s un-American and of the Bolshevik ideology. If you want that, I would suggest moving to Cuba or China. You don’t have the right to that ideology here.

Let’s make this post Twin Cities local. You know how we hear the scare tactics and fear-mongering by the leftist city leaders. “We need more money or else we’ll have to lay off police officers, close down fire houses and lay off EMS workers. Not to mention closing down branches of the public library.”

Matter of fact, that progressive whack-job Mayor of St. Paul, Chris Coleman just had that done a year or two ago. Remember? Remember the 500,000 dollar public water fountains for Minneapolis?

What do you suppose Minneapolis and St. Paul are spending a million dollars they don’t have on? More of this green nonsense called, “Green Bikes.” You’re kidding, right? No, I’m not. These idiots are progressives, remember?

By the end of the week, there will be over 100 Nice Ride bike stations in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

The iconic green bikes cost five dollars per day, or you can buy a year’s subscription for 60-dollars. Over the past two years, federal grants have pumped $2.7 million into the bike share program.

So when they are forced to raise your taxes, take more of your money to pay for this green Euphorion nonsense, is that what you want to pay for? When the founding father’s wrote the words, “provide for the general welfare,” contrary to the falsehoods the left would have you believe, this is not what they had in mind.

Let’s just go ahead and lay off some cops, shut down a fire house and lay off some EMS workers so we can buy some “green bikes.” Gee Wally, that’s a swell idea!

Or an even better thought. Let’s just tax the rich so they can pay for it, and once again those that have will be forced into buying yet another free lunch for the undeserving bottom feeders lining up at the public trough with their hands out. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

Oh! But this lunacy doesn’t end here, oh no. It continues on.

Next year, the Nice Ride program hopes to expand into Southwest Minneapolis, which will complete the final phase of the bike share initiative.

Ahh! Blue, progressive, Democrat policies hard at work. You really wonder why we are broke?

When you are struggling to make ends meet and then see your taxes go up again, leaving you with even less money to make ends meet, my question to you is very simple, straightforward and filled with common sense. Why do you keep electing these people? Ultimately, you brought this nonsense on yourselves. Why?
