So, where are all the left-wing politicians and their tired and worn out cries of “public health” and “public safety?” This time, those cries would be legitimate, you have an infectious disease that is spreading, thanks to these bottom feeding communists.

I don’t care if the Occupiers get TB, in fact, I’m getting a real charge out of that! But I do care about the normal, everyday citizen that could become infected because of those people.

ATLANTA (CBS Atlanta) – The home base for Occupy Atlanta has tested positive for tuberculosis.

The Fulton County Health Department confirmed Wednesday that residents at the homeless shelter where protesters have been occupying have contracted the drug-resistant disease. WGCL reports that a health department spokeswoman said there is a possibility that both Occupy Atlanta protesters and the homeless people in the shelter may still be at risk since tuberculosis is contracted through air contact.

Now, it’s local governments problem. If they let this movement continue and the citizens get sick, it’s on Atlanta, city government will need to be held accountable. Now we’ll see how much they really care about the “public safety” of its citizens.

#OccupyAtlanta Protesters Object to Speech from Rep. John Lewis

If you follow me on Twitter, you know I spent a chunk of the weekend reading through the minutes of meetings from the #OccupyWallSt protests. While the time spent shifting through the mind-numbingly inane discussions among these twits is time I’ll never get back, I did learn a few interesting things. Among these is the fact that the protesters are obsessed with process. Actually, obsessed doesn’t really capture it. They are singularly focused and consumed by discussions of “how” they are going to go about doing things. They are so concerned that any one person may feel ‘left out’ or that any other person may exercise too much “control”, that they spend countless time discussing and debating “how” they are going to conduct meetings; often during the meetings themselves.

Obama-Democrat policies. Let’s see, they controlled the House and Senate from 2007 to 2011 with a super majority for two years from 2009 to 2011, and they still control two-thirds of the government with the Senate and Presidency. How’s that been working out?

Thousands of unemployed waited overnight, camping out in their business suits and office heels and braving the tormenting heat in Atlanta to stand in line for a job fair Thursday. Authorities treated 20 people for heat exhaustion as they struggled to keep the line moving and get people moved inside.
