Tucson occupiers brawl, target cameraman and one attacks a woman

This certainly won’t help the argument that the Occupy movement is united and non-violent.

Local news station KVOA-TV was at the protesters’ camp Thursday with a camera rolling when the group started fighting. The focus seemed to be on calming down one man who was sounding off on the others and accusing them of not sleeping at the camp. And during the altercation, at least one man started targeting the cameraman.

But that wasn’t the end. Near the end of the video taken by the photojournalist, a woman can be seen stepping in to calm things down. That’s when the wild man turns his anger on her, shoving her to the ground in an aggressive manner.

Arizona Bill Designed to Stop Teachers Who Use Classrooms to Promote Their Political Agendas

PHOENIX – Public school teachers who use their classrooms to indoctrinate students with their personal political beliefs may finally be getting the attention they deserve.

Arizona lawmakers are debating the merits of a bill that would punish teachers who preach “partisan doctrine” disguised as legitimate lessons, as well as schools whose administrators defend those teachers’ inexcusable tactics.

PAYBACK! Arizona investigates Feds over gun running

So, Barack Obama’s lawless dictatorship wants to strip Arizona of the right to uphold the law regarding illegal aliens, well guess what? Arizona is going after the federal government over Fast & Furious and some prison time is a possibility for some Obama people. Let’s hope the most corrupt AG in this country’s history, Eric Holder is one of them!

Arizona’s state legislature will open its own investigation into the Obama administration’s disgraced gun-running program, known as “Fast and Furious,” the speaker of the state House said Friday.

Speaker Andy Tobin created the committee, and charged it with looking at whether the program broke any state laws — raising the possibility of state penalties against those responsible for the operation.

It’s a turnaround from the rest of the immigration issue, where the federal government has sued to block the state’s own set of laws.

All of us should be applauding and standing with the great State of Arizona on this one.

Racist Eric Holder Blocks South Carolina Voter ID For Racial Reasons

Eric Holder has been on a racialist bender the last few weeks.  Last week, he said his skin color is responsible for the fury of criticism over his Justice Department allowing thousands of guns to flood Mexico.  Friday, he blocked South Carolina from implementing a voter ID law under the Voting Rights Act saying it was racially discriminatory.

Supreme Court to Consider AZ’s Illegal Immigration Law

Against the expressed wishes of Obama White House lawyers, the United States Supreme Court has agreed to resolve the Obama Department of Justice’s lawsuit against the State of Arizona over its get-tough illegal immigration law (SB 1070). The decision comes just weeks after the High Court announced it would take on a lawsuit over the constitutionality of Obamacare, setting the stage for two extremely contentious legal battles in the middle of a heated presidential election year.

Democrat Hissy Fit: Special Ed Teacher to run against Gabby Giffords

Oh yeah, I laughed out loud when I saw that headline, and I’m still laughing about it hours later.

Oh those mean-spirited Republicans running against Gabby and rubbing it in with a Special Ed teacher, that’s just vile.

Only one little problem with that knee-jerk thought. The guy running against Giffords is a Democrat. Oops!

And how is the Democrat Party taking it? Well, didn’t you know that you can’t touch their sacred cow? Even the spineless Republicans know that, as they will not run a candidate against her for that seat.

Anthony Prowell teaches at Liberty Elementary School in Tucson, Arizona. Until recently, he’s dedicated most of his time to educating special needs students. These days, he’s become a local villain for his candidacy to represent Arizona’s 8th Congressional District.

Prowell tells The Daily Caller that he intends to run for the seat currently held by Democrat Rep. Gabrielle Giffords because “so many people that you talk to now say that there’s nobody representing the average working person.”

Initially looking to run for office as a Democrat, Prowell has been subjected to the ire of local party officials and everyday citizens aghast that he would challenge Giffords, who has only cast one congressional vote since a near-fatal shooting in January.

The few local Democrat Party officials he has spoken with on the phone are “livid” and have “flat out said, ‘we already have a congresswoman and I will not support you in any means whatsoever’” before hanging up, Prowell said. Read the rest

Gotta tell you, I laughed my ass off when I read about this next intellectual gem. There is no doubt, leftism really is a mental illness just like the psychiatrists have shown in their research. They are stunted in their intellectual growth and reasoning capabilities. Those people just don’t think like normal folks.

TUCSON, Arizona (Reuters) – A long-simmering movement by liberal stalwarts in southern Arizona to break away from the rest of the largely conservative state is at a boiling point as secession backers press to bring their longshot ambition to the forefront of Arizona politics.

A group of lawyers from the Democratic stronghold of Tucson and surrounding Pima County have launched a petition drive seeking support for a November 2012 ballot question on whether the 48th state should be divided in two.

The ultimate goal of the newly formed political action committee Start our State is to split Pima County off into what would become the nation’s 51st state, tentatively dubbed Baja Arizona.

And why are the leftists looking to secede? They live in that unrealistic utopian vision of a world without borders. That’s right, these kooks are the open borders, celebrate diversity, embrace multiculturalism crowd. They’re the kooks you see around a campfire singing “Khumbaya” wearing beads, roman sandals, and have the peace signs on their multicolored VW vans, with their “Mother Earth” license plate holders.

Donations pour in to help Arizona with border fence

I’m sure most have heard that Arizona is taking matters in to its own hands since the worthless federal government is ignoring the problem as Obama panders to the hispanic voting block in an attempt to buy the illegal alien and hispanic vote which he desperately needs to win reelection.

Know this. He is playing politics with the border. He is not putting the country first. He is derelict in providing for the security of the country, period.

PHOENIX – Arizona lawmakers want more fence along the border with Mexico — whether the federal government thinks it’s necessary or not.

They’ve got a plan that could get a project started using online donations and prison labor. If they get enough money, all they would have to do is get cooperation from landowners and construction could begin as soon as this year.

Gov. Jan Brewer recently signed a bill that sets the state on a course that begins with launching a website to raise money for the work, said state Sen. Steve Smith, the bill’s sponsor.

In less than 24 hours (as of this writing), the donations are pouring in! This is good news! We all need to pitch in. This isn’t just Arizona’s problem, it’s all of our problem.

Do your part. Help Arizona while helping America and donate what you can afford.

Senate approves “birther” bill in Arizona

If you want Arizona’s electoral votes, or want to run for president, you have to provide proof of citizenship. Nothing wrong with that. If you can’t produce, you don’t get the electoral votes and that could cause you to lose the election. Don’t be silly. Of course the Democrats are on the wrong side of this. Would you expect anything but?

PHOENIX – The Arizona Senate has approved a revised bill requiring presidential candidates to prove they are U.S. citizens eligible to run for the office.

The bill approved Wednesday gives candidates additional ways to prove they meet the constitutional requirements to be president.

It was prompted by the ongoing claim by some that there is no proof President Barack Obama was born in the United States and is therefore ineligible to be president.

Democrats argued the bill exceeds the state’s authority and say state officials are not fully qualified to determine the validity of a candidate’s documents.

As usual, Democrats are wrong. The state has every authority to do so. They are under the false assumption that the federal government is the big cheese. Clearly they have no understanding of the constitution. It is the states that grant rights to the federal government, not the other way around. Look it up.

Democrats by and large are statists. 180 degree’s opposite the constitution. They believe in federal control over pretty much everything. No, I’m not name-calling, I’m just telling it to you straight and that’s it.
