For those of you unaware of “Sunstein,” I’m talking about Regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein. He’s the guy in charge of dreaming up new regulations, and tweaking the existing regulations so they mean something they were never intended to mean. Much like “The General Welfare” in the constitution does not, and has never meant welfare as we know it (handouts, programs, etc…), but they just keep tweaking and pushing until the people come to believe their wrong and agenda-ideology driven views. Sunstein is a dangerous radical, some of you have heard Glenn Beck’s warning about him. Pay attention, Beck is right.
It’s no secret Barack Obama wants guns banned and confiscated, he can’t do it for that would require repeal of the Second Amendment, a snowball in hell has a better chance of surviving. It’s just not going to happen.
So what do you do? How do you advance your agenda? There are a lot of ways. You could go after the makers of ammunition, which Obama already has done to a small extent, and, via the regulatory czar, you can regulate where to shoot. If you keep closing off places to shoot, the interest in buying a gun diminishes because “you can’t shoot anywhere,” and Obama realizes his objective of a mostly unarmed citizenry.
And the neat part of this game is, potential firearms owners that opt against a gun and shooting actually believe they made that choice, when in fact it was really Sunstein “nudging” you to make that choice.
Nudge was a book written by Sunstein on how to manipulate people in to doing what you want them to do, while those manipulated believe they are making a decision of their own volition.
It has begun according to US News & World Report:
Gun owners who have historically been able to use public lands for target practice would be barred from potentially millions of acres under new rules drafted by the Interior Department, the first major move by the Obama administration to impose limits on firearms.
The story is entitled, Obama Pushing Shooters Off Public Lands, and you can read it here.
