I actually got a follow up e-mail from the campaign which clarified that the intent is that the people are all in place and they therefore are not going to be spending the money to actively campaign, but are looking for the local organizers to continue the work they are doing to get out the vote.

Well, the bottom line is that the economy does seem to be slowing again. Now we’re going to see some budget problems hit the headlines in states like California. Again. Even with consumer sentiment up at its highest levels in 4 years, it won’t take much to send that down again. The stock market has already pulled back from its highs and appears to be heading towards another summer swoon…

I don’t know about a different point of view so much. Going back to the 911 tape when Zimmerman was told by Dispatch not to follow Martin, but he did anyway.

It looks like Martin attacked Zimmerman, that’s an assault. Zimmerman has the right to defend himself and under Florida law, that includes the use of deadly force.

I don’t think anybody liked the outcome of this, myself included. I’m not taking sides, the truth is the only thing that matters, and sometimes the truth isn’t always popular. We still don’t have all the details, and forming an opinion one way or the other is premature.
