Those of us Twin Cities residents have fond memories of Sue Ellen Nivens played by the beloved Betty White, a character on the Mary Tyler Moore Show which was set in Minneapolis during the 1970′s. Lately, she’s had a bit of a resurgence at 90 years of age and is (not for long) one of the best-loved celebrities.
She’s the second MTM Show regular that has taken a hard left and fallen off the communist cliff. Another (in a way) Minnesota National Embarrassment.
First we had Lou Grant, played by Ed Asner get in bed with the Sandinista’s and Daniel Ortega back in the 1980′s. As a result, his spin off show, “Lou Grant” was cancelled and his career for the most part ended. And that is the proper way to treat communist sympathizers (Fellow Travelers) in this country. Blackball them in to irrelevance. But that doesn’t work when you have El Presidente cut of the same cloth.
And now there’s Betty White.
WASHINGTON – Betty White says she usually keeps her political views private but in this presidential election strongly favours one candidate.
As the 90-year-old actress prepares to visit the Smithsonian Institution and National Zoo next week, White told The Associated Press she “very, very much favours” President Barack Obama in the election….
….White says in this year’s election, she likes what Obama has done and “how he represents us.”
Really, Betty? What has he done to make America better? 5 plus trillion in new debt? Skyrocketing energy prices? High unemployment? Driving citizens out of the country? Created more poverty than any president in history? More people on food stamps than at any time in history? What part of that do you like, Betty? By the way, you’re known as an animal lover. What do you think of Obama allowing the wild horse slaughter and the approval for meat and glue factories specifically built for said horse slaughters?
For, or against? Well, looking through the comments on Yahoo I think it’s pretty safe to say that the love affair with Betty White will end in divorce.

You will see more celebrities with no previous public opinions on politics being pressured to endorse our dear leader. In Hollywood you have the right to have your own opinions as long as it leans left and supports liberal Democrats. It’s obvious she supports Obama out of fear. To do otherwise jeapordizes her celebrity status in the media and not to mention her personal saftey. Better to have Tea Partyers who respect the law disappointed in you than a rent a mob of smelly thugs from the occupy movement camped out on your front lawn shouting obcenities and death threats.

Who cares what Betty White thinks about it? She is senile and won’t live thru another presidential term anyway. She has enough money so national debt and younger people don’t matter to her. She is just an old vulgar mouth fool!

Say “Good night” Betty. I gave up on her the first time I saw her ad endorsing AARP, but this will most assuredly convince millions more of her “former” fans that it’s definitely time for her to go. I appreciate what she does for animals, but to endorse a man who stands to hurt so many people, including seniors (a group one would think she would strongly support) with his Obamacare, is unexcusable. Remember that, if the SCOTUS does not strike down this law and your doctor suddenly no longer sees Medicare patients and bureaucrats are controlling your health care, she is among his strong supporters.

Poor Betty, the old bag. Her brain is addled. Plus, the old girl is getting kind of filthy in her dotage….a mere remnant of what she once was. Give it up, Betty, and do some real soul searching. It is later than you think.
