No longer 5, but 6 dollar a gallon gas by summer possible

With $5.00 a gallon gas now the reality before the summer driving season as witnessed yesterday in D.C., 6 bucks a gallon is the likely scenario.

For those of you that will blindly follow the pied piper in to the depths of the abyss, tell me. What has he done to lower gas prices? He can’t do anything about the price of overseas oil, we all know that. But what has he done to help us? Has he opened the strategic oil reserve? That would bring the price down. Has he suspended the gas tax? Has he authorized more offshore drilling, or has he ordered a moratorium on offshore drilling?

Has he made it easier for big oil to do their jobs, or harder via regulations and land seizures? Be specific. Tell me exactly what he’s done and how it will help.

Has he relaxed EPA and other regulations, or increased them? You tell me. Seems to me he’s put up roadblocks, not take them down. If you can give me an example, I’d appreciate it. But you won’t be able to.

Now this piece of good news via CNBC:

A dollar plumbing three-year lows is hitting Americans squarely in the gas tank, and one economist thinks it could drive prices as high as $6 a gallon or more by summertime under the right conditions….

Hastings sees gasoline having “no problem” getting to $6.50 a gallon over the summer after increased demand and storm disruptions come into play.

I want you to think about $6.50 per gallon gas. Some of you folks on the lower end of the income ladder, are you going to be able to afford gas to get to work? Take that family vacation you’ve been planning for? Happy days and good times! Hope ‘n change! Four more years!

If you are complaining about the high fuel prices and you voted for Obama. Shut up. You have no right to speak. By your vote, you created these conditions. He told us during the campaign what was going to happen, and you voted for him in spite of that. Like I said, you have no right to complain.

Leftist redistributive hypocrisy on full display

The Left is Marxist to some degree or another. Their whole philosophy is basically taking from the haves and redistributing to the have-nots. In the real world that’s the definition of Marxism.

“Tax the rich” seems to be the mantra of the Marxist. In other words, take from someone who worked hard for what he or she has, and give it to someone who didn’t work for it. But you can’t have a reasonable discussion about how wrong that is with a leftist, because to the leftist, that’s not Marxism, that’s fairness. I know, I know. But they have a mental illness, remember?

A film crew went out to a bastion of Marxist-Progressive ideology, a college campus. UC-Merced to be specific and posed the question of giving up some GPA points and redistributing them to the students that are struggling.

Well, just like you’d expect, you heard “that’s not fair, I worked hard for my grades, etc….” The crew told these bright young people who are the future of the country, that it’s basically the same thing as what these students believe in taxing the rich, and of course, the famous and tired two-word excuse was used by a number of these students. “That’s different.” Newsflash kids, no it isn’t.

Barack Obama is ‘a slave of Wall Street’

Slave of Wall Street, Charlie? I dunno about that. Obama hates successful business except for General Electric, and shows a little bit of mercy to the Wall Street big-wigs that contributed to his campaign. Think you got this one wrong, buddy. He is a slave to big labor though. That’s undeniable.

President Barack Obama is “a slave of Wall Street,” the diminutive cult leader said by telephone from Corcoran State Prison to journalist David Lopez.

“He doesn’t realize what they are doing. They are playing with him,” Manson said of Obama. The president recently was being petitioned by Manson’s lawyer, Giovanni Di Stefano, to free the iconic killer, who has been incarcerated since 1969. That request was refused.

Refused? Refused? Barack! Come on now. Where’s the empathy?

Hey! I’ve got a great idea! Let’s go ahead and give 25 million dollars to Al Qaeda! Hey, c’mon. They’re “freedom fighters” chanting, “this is what democracy looks like!” This guy is more goddam stupid and incompetent than Jimmy Carter ever was. Hey, nevermind. Barack knows best! He’s the smartest man alive. Just ask him, he’ll tell you!

Now granted, Barry Hussein isn’t knocking on Osama’s cave door bearing gifts of 6 year-old little girls all named Ayesha, and 25 million dollars, but what he is doing is stupid and reckless:

Dismissing concerns over possible links between Libyan rebels and al Qaeda, the Obama administration has notified Congress it is providing $25 million in nonlethal aid to the rebels’ effort to drive Col. Moammar Gadhafi’s regime from power.

See what I mean about the ignorant arrogance of this fool? He doesn’t have a clue. No concept at all of the reality of the situation, just utopian ideological pipe dreams of a big socialist khumbaya session. This guy is absolutely stunning.

He hasn’t even thought that this plays in to Al Qaeda’s hands. Destabilization, a country without a strong government, a power vacuum (if Gaddafi is removed). This guy is playing right in to their hands. Does the term, “useful idiot” ring a bell? He defies logic and common sense. Out of that 25 million dollars, how much do you think Al Qaeda will get a hold of? Time will tell.

Large Majority of Iowa Republicans Do Not Believe Obama Was Born In The U.S.

It makes you wonder if there isn’t something to this. There has been no birth certificate produced, only a certificate of live birth. Not the same thing. I’m sure anyone, particularly the President of the United States could get their hands on their own birth certificate (or legal copy thereof) from the State of birth. Why not? Why doesn’t Obama just shut the birthers up once and for all and produce the document? That’s the simplest way to put an end to this once and for all. And a bonus for Obama and the Democrats… they’d get to prove the birthers as crazy, plus an added bonus of using it in the campaign.

I’m actually hoping it can be proved he’s foreign born. Out of office, and every law null and void that he signed. Added bonus… jail time.

Only a quarter of Republicans in critical caucus-state Iowa believe that President Obama was born in the U.S.

A massive 48 per cent of GOP voters in the Hawkeye State, who said that they will vote in the first caucus of the presidential election race, said they doubted the President’s place of birth.

No, I am not a birther, but I do have questions where Obama was born because he has provided no proof, as in a birth certificate. I also do not believe he is foreign-born because the birthers have provided no proof of that, either. What I am in favor of is an investigation if he won’t come forward, so we can put this to bed.

It’s time to call a spade a spade and tell it like it is. The Democrats are not concerned with getting spending and debt under control. That is a fact. Actions speak louder than words, and we all see what they are doing. Here, I’ll show you:

The national debt has passed another historical milestone, topping $14.3 trillion for the first time ever, according to data released by the U.S. Treasury late Monday afternoon….

Friday’s $34.54-billion jump in the national debt almost equaled the $38.5 billion the Republican House leadership said would be cut from spending for the remainder of this fiscal year by the continuing resolution that the Congress passed on Thursday and President Obama signed Friday.

We can either get serious and do Ryan’s budget plan, or we collapse. That’s the choice, it is that black and white.

The Religion of Peace throws another murderous tantrum

All I can say is, “right again, I rest my case.” Yesterday I said in a post, It’s always a one-way street with Muslims for the most part. They’re kind of like children going through the terrible two’s. If it’s not their way, they’ll throw a tantrum and their will be hell to pay.

As it turns out… via Bloomberg:

At least 153 people died in two days of riots across northern Nigeria by supporters of opposition candidate Muhammadu Buhari, who lost the April 16 presidential vote in Africa’s top oil producer, a civil rights group said.

The mainly Muslim supports of Buhari, a former military ruler, attacked backers of President Goodluck Jonathan and clashed with Christians in the northern city of Kaduna and at least seven other towns, Shehu Sani, executive director of the Civil Rights Congress, said today by phone.

The fighting displaced more than 39,000 residents and injured at least 410 people, the secretary of the Nigerian Red Cross, Umar Mairiga, said by phone from Lagos, the commercial capital.

In Kaduna, members of Jonathan’s People’s Democratic Party “are leaving town,” Sani said. “If you’re a known PDP member, or you have their banner or sticker, you were attacked,” he said.

Jonathan, a Christian from the oil-rich Niger River delta region, defeated his nearest rival Buhari by a 57 percent to 31 percent margin, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission said. Buhari’s party rejected the election verdict.

Let me repeat that one more time:

The results of Obama’s irresponsibility

Wasn’t it Obama and the mighty freedom chanters from the left that kept yelling, “Down with Mubarak?” And wasn’t it Obama himself that said Mubarak had to go, he told him to step down and let “democracy” take its course? Wasn’t he also firmly on the side of the “democracy” movement?

And wasn’t it Obama that downplayed the Muslim Brotherhood? Yeah, he did. He wants them to be full partners, remember?

Ask and ye shall receive. As is the case with all leftists, knee-jerk syndrome got the best of him.

CAIRO—Iran and Egypt’s new government signaled Monday they were moving quickly to thaw decades of frosty relations, worrying the U.S., Israel and Saudi Arabia that the overtures could upset the Mideast’s fragile balance of power.

Iran said it appointed an ambassador to Egypt for the first time since the two sides froze diplomatic relations more than three decades ago, the website of the Iranian government’s official English-language channel, Press TV, reported late Monday.

Also Monday, officials at Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that new foreign minister Nabil Elaraby is considering a visit to the Gaza Strip—an area controlled by Hamas, a militant Palestinian Islamist group backed by Tehran and until now shunned by Cairo.

The announcements follow a rare meeting earlier this month between a high-level Iranian diplomat and Mr. Elaraby, after which the foreign minister told reporters that Egypt has “opened a new page” with Iran.
